I still haven't seen that movie [] but I have read the (first) book. It stars Sean Penn, Dakota Fanning and Michelle Pfeiffer. It's about a mentally handicapped father (played by Sean Penn) who is fighting for custody of his daughter (played by Dakota Fanning). Here's a link.
