May 9 is National Shrimp Day. #TodayNfood Lime Tequila Peel-And-Eat Prawns The recipe is from Shellfish The Cookbook 1 pound spot prawns, deveined, shell on 3 tablespoons tequila 2 garlic cloves, minced 2 tablespoons fresh lime jjuice 2 teaspoon lime zest ¼ teaspoon hot pepper flakes 3 tablespoons butter Combine the prawns, tequila, garlic, lime juice, lime zest & pepper flakes in a medium bowl. Cover & refrigerate for 15 to 30 minutes. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp & cook until firm & bright pink, about 2 to 3 minutes.
