Después de semanas de rumores y comentarios en redes sociales, la Concejalía de Cultura y Animación Sociocultural incluyó ayer oficialmente la actuación del compositor y pianista de origen libanés en el contrato de producción de los espectáculos al aire libre de las fiestas de Vigo. El gobierno municipal sacó ayer a licitación la producción de los nueve recitales previstos en Castrelos por un importe de 229.000 euros. Mika dará vida a una programación que estrena Norah Jones el 14 de julio. El intérprete de números uno como "Relax" o "Take it easy" visita por primera vez Galicia y su concierto en la ciudad será el tercero de este año en España y el cuarto desde que se diera a conocer en todo el mundo con su single "Grace Kelly", todo un himno que lo aupó en las listas de éxitos. Ganador de tres premios MTV, tres World Music Awards y cuatro Brit Awards, su visita supone una oportunidad única para disfrutar de un espectáculo que recibió el aplauso unánime de la crítica internacional en abril de este año en Madrid y Barcelona. Divertido y enérgico, la gira de su segundo disco "The boy who knew too much" (El chico que sabía demasiado) viste las canciones de un acompañamiento instrumental y coral difícil de igualar. El Concello aún no ha anunciado oficialmente el concierto, pero éste forma parte ya de la programación de las fiestas de verano, restando por concretarse la hora y el precio de las entradas, que en los recitales de Barcelona y Madrid rondó los 30 euros. El público de Castrelos vibrará con este ex cantante de ópera el sábado 14 de agosto en el último concierto del verano en el auditorio de Castrelos. La producción de los nueve previstos en el parque se adjudicará de forma conjunta a una misma empresa con un presupuesto base de 229.000 euros. La adjudicataria se encargará de la organización integral de los eventos, desde proveer de catering a los artistas e invitados hasta controlar las taquillas y explotar las dos cantinas de Castrelos. La empresa será responsable de la iluminación y equipamiento técnico de las instalaciones y, como curiosidad, en el contrato se explicita que todo el personal debe dirigirse al público en gallego, salvo que alguien pida ser atendido en castellano. Muchas gracias Vigo is the largest city in Galicia, Spain Sure I can translate, hope I did well: The colorful and energetic Mika will close this year the performances for the festivals in the Castrelos auditorium next august 14th. After weeks of rumors and comments in all social networks, the Culture Council and Sociocultural Animation included yesterday officially the act of the Lebanese composer and pianist in the production contract of the open field shows in the Vigo festivals. Local government brought out yesterday to consideration the production of the nine concerts to be seen in Castrelos with a budget of 229.000 Euros. Mika will give life to a program that will be opened by Norah Jones on July 14th. The performer of numbers such as "Relax" or "Take it easy" will visit Galicia for the first time and his concert in the city will be third this year in Spain and fourth since he made himself noticeable all over the world with his single "Grace Kelly", a whole anthem that lifted him up in the hits chart. Winner of three MTV awards, three World Music Awards and four Brit Awards, his visit is a unique opportunity to enjoy a show that received the unanimous applause of the international critics last April in Madrid and Barcelona. Fun and filled with energy, the tour for his second album "The Boy Who Knew too Much" dresses the songs with instrumental and vocal arrangements hard to match. The Concello has not announced yet this concert officially but it is already in the programming of this summer festivals. Only time and price of tickets, which in Barcelona and Madrid's concerts was around 30 Euros, are left to be set. The public of Castrelos will vibrate with this ex opera singer on Saturday, August 14th, in the last summer concert in Castrelos Auditorium. The production of the nine anticipated concerts will be all given to a single company with a 229.000 euros budget. The company will also be in charge of catering for the performers, ticket control, the bars, lighting, technical equipments and as a curiosity, it is explicit in the contract that all personal should address public in Galician unless someone asks to be talked in Spanish.
