Noone heve not posted any report for gig in Limoges.. so I will.Hopefully French-speaking MFCers could add some reports about what MIKA spoke on the stage. I'm dying to know it. He took me on an epic journey through his days from the late 00's sensational pop tunes to his recent sophisticated tracks from album NPIH for this Heaven tour.The gig looked like a story which tells his history or his current state of mind with both sides of dark and light. Limoges is local lovely city, it took 4 hours by train from Paris. Zenith de Limoges was on the outskirts of the city.I arrived there around 1pm and got number 13. It was windy afternoon but I had a good time with MFCers who are so cheerful and kind to me, Merci a lot for them!Gates opened at 19:00 and I maneged to get a space in the front row, a bit left side and just in front of a piano. An ideal view for me! France is now his home ground for some reason, and it was the local touches which made this finely-honed show extra special.I was impressed by the wide range of MIKA fans in there. Kids, the elderly, familys, couples( also gay couples), young girls from various countries.Btw, his young brother Fortune was seen in front seated area. He appeared beside the caravan with a borsalino hat and dark coat, started singing NPIH very expressively.Everyone was unavoidably attracted by the voice in a moment. The audience kept their eyes glued to him till he get off the stage.After the gentle intro, he began with Big Girl and I was hopping in a jubilant mood with a fanatic girl next to me! MIKA, dressed in a fireworks embroidered dark suit and white shirt, looking impressively stylish.Floppy-curly-hair, twinkling eyes, enchanting smile, absolutely fabulous and gorgeous, fascinated me at all. His voice slightly controlled carefully, but in pretty good shape. I appreciated the delicacy of his beautiful voice. He was pretty chatty during the gig. I couldn't understand his speaking in French even a word, its endearing voice regaled me though.It seemed that he gave some words to a fan in the audience to celebrate on his birthday. After the show, he spend a bit of time with chatting and signing to fans before he left the venue.He was wearing a kinky hat which I tossed to the stage for him.When he came around to me, I was totally speechless.Some MFCers from Korea helped me to tell him that I came here all the way from Japan and the hat was a gift from me.Then he kindly said Thank you in Japanese language to me, ah, so sweet you are!(Btw, he got it wrong.. the hat was not my hand-made one, in fact, I got it from a shop on sale 30% off!) Anyway, MIKA is familiar and unchanging. A living pop icon to many. For me, this gig was beyond a rare privilege.Merci! NaoMika☆ PS.
