That looks good. Does everyone think that is enough for the lyrics? I've adjusted the part about Grace Kelly and the line below, so that, to me, it fits the rhythm On this post it can be fiddled with, then I can update the first post with the finished lyrics. I cannot match very well this line - "It's been so long since you've been gone" - with the rest of the chorus. 2.If you think about - these two lines say the same: Mika please don't ever go away Mika please stay with us all day So my proposal is to take only one of them. It helps us also to avoid repeating Mika 4 times. 3. This is my version of the first part of the chorus. Mika please don't ever go away Mika don't forget us in UK Mika don't you also see it's true That in this world we all love you. However I am sixty-one years old and have the tech skills you'd expect a sixty-one year old to have. If anyone wants to take over for this, then that would be great! Could we also add a line like See you at the Palladium, somewhere, to celebrate the new gig as well? Anyway, I'll adjust the first post with what we have for the lyrics. An idea, if we wanted to add something extra, like See you at the Palladium, or something else, might be for someone to do a short rap in the middle of the song, after all it doesn't have to be exactly like LYL all the way through, and it would be a way to get something extra in there. Anyway, I'll update the lyrics for now. I thought of a start for the rap, if we use it. Mika we'll see you at the Palladium That's as good as seeing youin a stadium. If we do a video, I'd be happy to do a very short intro, speaking, to let him know it's from his fan club and we've collaborated on the lyrics and borrowed LYL tune. Just so he knows what it is. However, I'd have to find out how to do the short vid and send it to you. My son might be able to film me on his phone, but he's not very tech savvy either, even though he's young. And don't let others make you believe that. You're special. And you will find a lot of persons in your life who will see you as special. Do you not like them all or is it a bunch of certain lines??? I understand, that everyone may not like all the lyrics, I struggle with a few lines, but we have to include everyone's lyrics at the end of the day, so it's from as many people as possible. I'm so nervous about everyone on here hearing me sing, I'm gonna do it anyway kuz nothing/noone can stop me, but what if people don't like me or my voice, how am I going to do this song justice and live up to the standards of Mika??? I guess Mika wouldn't want me to care, and would just want me to be me and do what I do best and have fun, and don't let anyone/anything drag me down or make me feel bad, so that is what I'm gonna do I am just going to try my best, and be strong. Nevertheless, I am still soooooooooooooo excited to be doing this, I can't believe I have this oppertunity, and I'm going to be part of something that will stay in my memory forever, a memory where the world came together for good and that will spread happiness to the countless who will hopefully watch it!!! It's a great idea, BUT.. it should be another video. Now we are making the video for BBC2-shows and the idea is - say how UK fans are missing Mika. That's all and it's clear. First let's make this video and see how it goes. We have no so much time left. If you think about - your idea it's very interesting, but it's not easy. And the lyrics for your video should be different. Or maybe we'll find the way to do it without lyrics, but just telling the short stories of our lives. You see - it's not a thing to be done quickly.
