Big Girl Posted June 17, 2007 Share Posted June 17, 2007 Bless me father for I have sinned, last night I went without our lord almost all day, I did not even find the time to pop into the confessional booth of our holy temple of Mikadom. I was out celebrating the 18th birthday of my daughter Vix, I hope the fact that we got up on the dance floor of light and shook our "booty" leapt very high in the air waving our arms frantically and singing at the top of our lungs in extreme dedication as soon as they played "Grace Kelly" which was quickly followed by "Love Today" which we immediately repeated our public displays of worship. Unfortunately the holy water was a little too strong for me and I fell to my knees as I left the dance floor of light, of course this was purely an act of total worship you understand, and the sniggers I heard were obviously from the unenlightened ones. :naughty: That is a great one Sparkly! This is a totally forgivable sin as it is only natural to love not only your boyfriend but our great lord Mika too. See, I'm getting a bonus at work in August, and the responsible thing to do would be to invest it or pay extra on my student loans, or something. But, hearing that our dear Mika might announce some new North American tour dates makes me very tempted to take said bonus and use it to travel to a performance! He's not going to be anywhere near me, I'm sure of it, so I'm looking at a 4 - 6 hour plane ride.My fiance is on board with this idea! Does that make me a bad person, Holy Johnny? Should I be responsible and add some offshore blue chip stocks to my investment portfolio , or say screw it and go see the great Mika...? I think of it like this... Responsiblity is a thing that comes with age, you are young and should be carefree. You also have the responsiblity to our lord to see him whenever you can:naughty: You are not a bad person and I think that offshore blue chip investments are too high to buy at the moment any way (give it another 6 months, then the time might be right) So I would put it to you, go get your freak on my child and be reckless. But Mother Sparkly you were still worshiping him in your own way:roftl: I too have been very busy and not been able to dedicate as much time to the booth as I would like but I have been preaching to all the non-believers that happlessly wander into the establishment in which I must frequent in order to earn some money. LiCM was played non-stop for 6 hours solid. I am sure several people were humming the tunes as they left. And thank you for your support about my "exploits" the other night, I think you must have been right father and it WAS all in the line of duty so to speak, and of course it's a duty that is no hardship. also we do understand you have to share your valuable wisdom amongst the masses and although we miss you on your travelling pilgrimages we know we have to dig deep into our souls and pray for your safe return so you can once again lead the flock, but in your absence we do support each other father and offer our services to the needy. I think maybe nearer the time of the event you will get terribly excited, it is probably a good thing you are keeping yourself calm for the time being to save yourself a heart attack before the event, so I don't think you are sinning at all, you are just too overwhelmed by the thought of it and are subconsciously keeping yourself in a state of calmness, don't worry my child. I was not bothered about hearing our lord sing his Psongs live, I liked what I heard and did not think about seeing him. But OOOOOHHHHHHH Lordy was I wrong. If you like him now, you will LOVE him after you have experienced the first moments you realize that it is Relax first. Oh the goosebumps it created, the tingle down my spine. Then when Love today started I was already in full jumpy swing, but then it got better that moment when he jumped onto the bass drum and turned to face us (I am not gay, but my heart exploded) The banging on the dustbin got louder and louder, then BOOM. The entire crowd as one started "Whoop, Whoop". My god I was in heaven. I had seen it all on youtube but nothing and I MEAN nothing can prepare you for the whole seeing our god Live. Go, just go. I guess it is good to listen to other music from time to time, if only so that when you do listen to our lords sacred psongs you fully appreciate his superiority. What you must remember to do though my child is to play at least one track from LiCM after every other song you listen to, which it appears you have not done For this sin, I ask you to say 37 Hail Mikas to the tune of Ring Ring.
