Yearbook: TIMELINE team headquarters!

So, you guys can activate this thread when you’re ready. The timeline will consist of the big things that happened, the tours…all of that. No watermarked photos though…and the pics should definitely be high resolution for printing purposes.

Great idea,a thread will make things easier to organize all that !

So, we should only put the more important things right ? Maybe we should make a list of all that happened this year (should we talk about the end of 2007 if they weren't mentioned in the other yearbook ?) and then choose together the most importants.

For the design_I've seen the one of last year and it was amazing !!! Although, we should change it, don't you think ? We could do something with the yearbook themes there already are (how much do we love you, and the magazines cover) or maybe circus things in honour of the biggest gig this year ?

Btw, we are supposed to take care of the design of the timeline too, right ?

What do you guys think ? Do you have any ideas ?

keeping a running list, having learned from last year (worked on

the timeline last year, too)

truly does go back into the studio and there's not much happening

staff, but Sivan did a fabulous job implementing it. I think we ought

to certainly try to brainstorm some other ideas for this year

-- just to see if we can come up with something that ties in with

the themes, as you suggested. I think we are on the hook to

design the timeline as well... anyone good with that sort of thing?

Brainstorming sounds like a good idea_ I hope we'll be able to do something good considering we're only 4 is it normal ? Were that many people last year ?

I can do nice stuff, it's not with photoshop or any big complicated software but it doesn't look bad (to me at least:naughty:)

photos we should be OK. We really can't use any of the pics from any of the

wire services like WENN or WireImage.

Should we talk about TV appearances ? If so, I think there was that Disques D'or show where he sang and I think he had won something too but I'm not sure, my memory is terrible

In total we have... 40ish dates for now ... Shall we put them all ?

I don't think we'll be able to, unless Mika does *nothing* for the

IIRC last year, we sort of blended things together --

for example we can say something like:

January 28 through February 15, 2008: toured North America, starting in Quebec, ending in Vancouver

We might have some from outside the awards shows, but the

only ones of Mika holding the awards will probably be from news agencies.

We'll need to double-check with Melanie on how we handle that.

We aren't going to be able to use a photo from every event, in any case

But can you differentiate pictures coming from wire services like WireImage from the others (The ones tooken by fans) ? And do you have the name of the person who took the picture as well ? I guess we'll need to ask their permission.

Yeah, I'm doing the art, poetry, HMCML and cover design sections (though I'm in the last one by mistake hahaha, but that suits me fine:naughty:, it's a lot of fun). Oh, and I gave the idea for the autograph section, too (I'm obviously part of it).

Btw, talking about the cover, we're also thinking of the circus theme. Dunno if it's a problem?
