  2. Eu sei lá, nem sei a que horas vou pro Coliseu, nem tão pouco em que dia chego a Lisboa!
  3. Congrats Mari and Mellody! You'll do a great job, I'm sure!
  4. *aparece só pra mostrar que não fugiu*
  5. Thanks for the reports & pics! And Kath, I'm sure Mika was pleased to see you guys there!
  6. Se eu fosse de Lisboa, voluntariava-me já! Vens sozinha, Fran?
  7. A Natacha não é de Lisboa, Carla! Acho que é de Viseu! A Pipas é de Lisboa, tem também a Sandra, a Sílvia...são dos arredores de Lisboa também.
  8. Sorry, they took it down! DAMN PEOPLE, PUT IT ONLINE ALREADY OR JUST LET US SEE IT! :aah:
  9. Cristina Branco has an incredible voice! Also...the classic Amália...Raquel Tavares (amazing voice too), Carminho, Ana Moura, Camané, Carlos do Carmo... I must say fado is not exactly a music style I listen to very often, but as a portuguese, just listening to the sound of the guitars gives me chills. It's beautiful! Also, you have the Fado of Coimbra, very different from the "Lisbon" fado, and traditionally sang by university students. Here: The guitars...god, the guitars...
  10. Loved to know he listens to portuguese artists (that was actually one of my questions, and he ended up answering it without knowing! LOL). For anyone interested, here's the Mariza he talked about:
  11. Glad you had so much fun, and that your first gig was so good, in every way! I don't think we met, tho... Next time, maybe? I don't know who the girl is, but she was really nice! And wow, travelling from Venezuela! Wow wow wow! Mika was very honoured!
  12. Eu só tirei 2 fotos, e uma delas saiu toda desfocada... lol
  13. This was 2 years ago. Just... *sigh* Yeah. Can we go back, please? No? Ok then...
  14. I know I'm late and that you probably don't even want to read any more reports, so I'll try to make this short... (I still couldn't organize my ideas very well anyway) This was my 7th Mika gig but it reminded me SO MUCH of my first one... Don't know exactly why, but from the EXTREMELY relaxed queuing (oh how I missed that) to meeting tons of new people, to seeing a new show, I guess all of that together took me back to 2008! And I loved it! I tried my best not to see videos from other shows, as I felt the need to be surprised. I must confess I wasn't THAT excited for the gig (I was extremely excited to meet everyone, but not exactly to see Mika), the new songs hadn't convinced me 100% yet, and I was a bit scared. I didn't want my Mika sparkle to be gone, but for a while I thought that might have happened. BUT I COULDN'T BE MORE WRONG! He's back. He's SO BACK! Holy cow! I absolutely LOVED this gig's vibe. So relaxed, LOTS of love for Mika in the air, everyone together, ready to show Mika we're still here. From the moment we got in, I realised how much I've missed this! Loved meeting everyone, preparing the surprises, chatting,... What a freakin' great day it was! Now I start thinking "why didn't we take a pic all together?", "why didn't I chat more to X or Y?", "why didn't we do this or that..."... *slaps herself* But it was all so cool, that I didn't even remember that at the time. The show itself was great! I had the time of my life (see pic previously posted ) and yeah, I would love to have heard Lola or Kick ass or Elle Me Dit or....whatever! But you know that feeling when a show ends and you're just as happy as you can be? When you feel completely satisfied with what you've seen and heard? Exactly. That was it. The new band is great. I am 100000000% team iMMa, and Cherisse and Martin...and I missed them loads, but I can't deny that Mika has chosen a great band. They're great musicians, and apart from Joy, that stays in the back for 99% of the show, they all interact a lot with the audience. I must say I was expecting them to be more reserved, cause they're still new to this Mika madness. I welcomed them to the family there, and I totally meant it. Wish them tons of success in their Mikadventure! And Curtis and Max shouted "PORTUGAL ROOOOCKS" so...They're totally my faves now. LOL The M&G was already described, so no need to do that again. Just need to say again how wonderful it was to see everyone behaving, not pushing, not screaming... It felt so good, and I think Mika genuinely appreciated it. He was tired, of course, and still took his time to sign everything, take pics, chat, joke... I was proud of our little group! Last year, the mobbing at Marés Vivas made me feel ashamed, cause we're not like that at all! So...in no particular order: Rosa, Asun, Marian, Elisa, David, Rose, Patri, Belen, the other Belen (and her sis), Franc, Lidia, Yolanda, Yulia (if I forgot anyone, forgive me), and OBVIOUSLY the whole portuguese gang: Thank you! Miss you all already and can't wait to meet you again! Now I shall go back to my post Mika depression, cause this time it's hitting me hard! DAMN YOU MIKA!
