Haha that was cute. Either she's wearing REALLY high heels or she's amazingly tall, because she doesn't look that short next to Mika. Not that that's incredibly interesting, but I was quite surprised.

Favourite cover he had done so far: It's tied between Satellite and I Want You Back. Least favourite cover: I'm not sure, I'm not too fussed about Missionary Man but that's probably because I don't know the song and I don't really seem to be able to enjoy hearing songs for the first time in a live environment. Favourite song: Stuck in the Middle or My Interpretation, cos the piano's gorgeous in them. Least favourite song/song you don't listen that much: I don't tend to listen to Any Other World that much because since I heard the version on the DVD where the piano just sounded amazing, I couldn't get enough of it so it kind of spoiled the CD version a little bit. I love the strings in it though. Song that gives you a weird/special feeling: Live version of Any Other World. Song that makes you really happy: Lollipop. Song that makes you down/sad: Satellite makes me feel quite sad, but quite peaceful aswell.

I've only listened to the first twenty seconds of both of them but they sound brilliant and addictive. The music really matched the singing in the Rihanna one I thought and the Daft Punk one was really funky. Have you seen the Daft Hands video? It's really REALLY clever.

I squeed so much when I was watching buzzcocks the other night and then when Andy came out and did it my face went from a massive grin to the most disgusted look in the world. It was really funny though. Best episode of Buzzcocks I've seen in a long time.

It seems like it's been so long and yet not so long since this time last year. Definitely been made hellishly good by LICM and the man himself. Actually gave me a reason to smile today.

It means messed up, sort of. I'm guessing it comes from the word dementia (which is a disease like alzheimers) and yeah, that's how it works, similar to how 'retarded' was once a medical term but kids discovered it and ran with it.

Yeah, it's an old old old term, I was so surprised when I heard him say it because, where I live at least, people stopped saying it about ten years ago. It was nice to hear it being used again though, brought a smile to my face.

Woot! A thread appreciating all that is British and glorious! If I'm completely honest I think London's a dump mostly, but I absolutely love it and couldn't imagine living anywhere else, I think that's a little bit special.

Ha, they have that about fancy dress on the Brixton website as well and my best friend found it (I'm dragging her along on the 28th) and she was just like 'no way am I going in fancy dress' because she's a hardcore punk and she likes to pretend that she's far too cool for that sort of thing. I'm going straight from college though so I think fancy dress is a no for this time, maybe next time though. I'm getting really excited though, probably time to put a countdown up on msn actually.

I feel so silly, I joined here ages and ages ago but I never bothered to make a single post (and feel quite rude about it) so now I'm making up for it.
