  1. I can tell I'm going to be going absolutely mental on that day, completely stressing out. GAH. Good luck with getting your bestival tickets!
  2. 30 minutes? Blimey, that means I have to be awake and ready at 9 o'clock on a Sunday, Outrageous!
  3. I'm crossing my fingers for Glastonbury. I'm 90% sure I'm going. If you wanna go to Glastonbury, don't forget that you have to register before tickets go on sale and you can't buy tickets unless you've registered.
  4. I like the eras idea. I forsee a lot of bright make-up for the eighties stuff. XD
  5. Yeah, £18 for a wash and blow dry and there's a few different ways you can have it styled. I think it's if someone's going out straight after work and they want their hair looking nice, although if I were really that bothered I'd take my straightners to work and straighten my hair before I leave. I wouldn't pay eighteen quid to have what is essentially, nothing, done to my hair. You can get your nails done too, it's actually really strange how different it is to my local topshop.
  6. Those chocolate monkeys are actually really nice, haha. *speaks from experience* Go for it!
  7. No, they have escalators though so it's ok. They've got all these different little jewellery places as well, and they've got a place that sells hand made african jewellery and it's all fair trade and stuff, which is pretty cool. You can even get your hair done there, it's just silly.
  8. It's ridiculous there. FIVE floors. I was only in Oxford Street so I could meet the mighty boosh, and decided to waste a bit of time around there. I've been going to new look a bit more regularly lately, mostly cos they give a pretty good student discount, although last time I was in there they snapped my debit card in half when they put it in the chip and pin machine. I've got an urge to do some internet dress hunting now, gaaaaaaah.
  9. It's the sort of thing that middle aged blokes do when they go to Spain, the really ignorant ones who just eat burger and chips and plan their holiday around where they can watch the football on tv. The sort of people that talk louder and slower to overcome a language barrier. It makes me feel embarassed on their behalf just thinking about it.
  10. Yeah New Look is pretty good for that sort of thing. Or the vintage floor in topshop oxford st. I was in there yesterday and it was all so pretty. (And so tiny! Dammit!) Ooft, I'm just about to look at your drawings.
  11. The idea of myself gooing around in socks and sandals, it's awful. The pictures are stuck in my head and it's not pretty at all.
  12. Now THAT I would actually do. Like in Atonement...(it's a very Keira based evening...hmm). I love dotty dresses. I haven't got any, but this would give me a good excuse to get one, even though I vowed today that I wouldn't buy anymore clothes. Oh welllllll.
  13. Uggggggh I've got awful mental images now. *kills self*
  14. Oh my, that'd be amazing. I was going to post a picture of a British troop from years and years ago, when they wore the white trousers and red jackets and silly hats with silly wigs but then I got struck by the socks and sandals idea, hahah. But imagine Mika's face if there were people at his gig dressed up like Elizabeth Swann. It's a shame we're not ten years old, you can get her dress in the Disney store.
  15. So for the Brits it's either this: or this: I'll go for socks and sandals
  16. Circle is the seated area upstairs, and yes, you absolutely have to dress up or they won't let you in at all.
  17. Hahah that's understandable. My best friend lives in Dagenham and she thinks I'm posh because I pronounce my t's and don't live in a council house. No, it's not THAT bad, but I like to take the mick a LOT. There's an all right part of Dagenham and a dodgy part of Dagenham, and I only really go in the all right bit. It's the typical "If I get pregnant the council will give me a flat innit?" place though.
  18. I've never watched it but I've been meaning to for a while now...is it any good?
  19. Ah, never mind, eh? Even worse though, my college is in Dagenham. I mean, DAGENHAM. You can't stop at traffic lights there because your wheels get nicked off your car!
  20. Near Romford. *cringe* What about you?
  21. Pffffft, they need to get over themselves and stop slagging people off. It's not good for the soul, and let's face it, nobody really values their opinions anyway, so they're just wasting their own time.
  22. I joined a year ago but only started posting last week, I think it's just 'The Mika Effect' hahaha. You're not alone in this.
  23. Ignorant people won't change, and those of us with multiple brain cells will just have to battle through and blank out their pathetic comments and insults. It usually stems from their own insecurity and their ignorance come back to bite them on the bum in the end. With any luck, the most ignorant ones will be appearing here: http://www.darwinawards.com/ Honouring those who improve the gene pool by accidentally removing themselves from it.
  24. He definitely is one of the few people who can do it just right, without showing off too much and without having the wrinkles of the jeans going all down his legs. Yay for skinny jeans!
