  1. What a wonderful job you did! Thanks so much, Sivan! I'm so happy to finally see them! dcdeb
  2. Well, I'm not happy at the word "fan" either -- until the scrapbook for Sivan, I'd never written fan letter, ever. And I'm 47! I lived through the Donny Osmond, David Cassidy, Bay City Rollers era! I was never a teeny bopper and never what I considered a fan. But if by fan you mean fanatic, then I definitely am for Mika's music. Can't quite explain it, but there you go. I am a Mika Fan. dcdeb
  3. He's said it. I saw the video from when Sivan gave him the scrapbook and he admitted quite plainly that he read the forum. He knew the scrapbook was coming -- he said he'd read about it. I don't think he'd lie about that. So yes. I think he definitely pops in here to see what we all think of him. dcdeb
  4. You are a true writer! I can totally relate! Currently, I am just writing for this one website allearsnet.com and the newsletter that goes with it. Plus the book. Before my son was born, I was a freelance writer, writing for publications like Travel-Holiday magazine, and in-flight magazines (like the ones you read on the airplanes). But... times change So... I write a lot of stuff -- reviews, essays, etc. but mostly about Disney and Walt Disney World in Florida. If you ever plan to go there and need info -- I'm your girl! dcdeb
  5. I would certainly be shocked! But really, honestly, we all know now that he does peek in here... I wouldn't be 100 percent surprised. dcdeb
  6. That's important, not "that's all"... You go! That's my one and only book -- we are updating it for the second edition right now. But we put out a weekly email newsletter about Disney World that I edit -- and I often write the main feature of the week... Writing is tough, isn't it? But when you feel you have to do it... you have to do it! dcdeb
  7. LOL! But are you a writer? I'm a writer... that's why I ask! dcdeb
  8. Which article, Blue? I must have missed something. dcdeb
  9. Cow are quite big -- I'm only 5' 1"... And Mika... well, I'm a little bit shy dcdeb
  10. What's there to know about me? Everything you need to know is on my myspace page My life is an open book! dcdeb
  11. Yes, a cuppa would go well right now... milk and sugar, please, no lemon. And yes... here in the states we are in the midst of March Madness basketball... and my son's "team" had a climactic finish tonight. Whatever. dcdeb
  12. I am just dead. D-E-A-D! How in the world can I cope after reading all of your fabulous adventures with Mika, et al.? I hope you're happy now. You've killed me. *sigh* dcdeb
  13. Never lose the child in you -- that's a beautiful phrase and we should all remember it! Thanks, Blue! dcdeb
  14. Sorry... my son had to tell me all about the latest basketball game... he's turned into quite a sports guy! And darn it! The smilies are still not working for me! I click but nothing happens! dcdeb
  15. This is when a live chat room would be so nice. I'm very sad that it didn't work out the other day dcdeb
  16. Never had a Paddington Bear... or a Pooh Bear! I've been deprived! And I'm here for the duration... nothing going on here tonight. Hubby's already in bed, son is on his way too... so I can stay up and play all night! until the cows come home. Or until Mika drops in  dcdeb
  17. And yet we seem to be having trouble generating that same interest here in the US! What is WRONG with us???!!! dcdeb
  18. I'm good, Steph... are you bartender tonight? And am I wrong, but did I not see Freddie around AT ALL not anywhere today? dcdeb
  19. Oh, that's too cute! I'm such a sucker for little doggies... dcdeb
  20. I actually LOVE the UK... all of it. My mother is English, born in Great Yarmouth, just like our Beckar and her mom Cherie! -- so maybe that's why, but I think even though I'm born and raised American I could easily transplant to the UK... of all the places I've been in the world, I love London the most, followed very closely by several spots in Italy... *sigh* I always get the urge to travel in the spring! dcdeb
  21. Steph, I also wanted to tell you I was blown away by the photo you posted in the "where you live" thread -- what an absolutely gorgeous place! Almost mystical... I loved it! dcdeb
  22. Oh, there it is! What a job that must have been -- to string that all together like that! I'll be so interested to see what comes of it -- you really did a lot of work on it to put it together so well! dcdeb
