  1. I like that picture! Very Artful Dodger!!
  2. I actually really like the fact that most people either totally 'get' Mika and love him, or really hate him. That is the sign of an artist with something going on, as there is nothing worse than mediocrity! Which makes this review even more puzzling. I'd rather he'd just done an Alex Petridis and said he hated it, because he obviously did, but was just trying to be clever! It was a pathetic bit of so-called journalism and we should now just cast it from our memories
  3. I've just looked at the scrapbook photos - you did a great job Sivan!! I'm sure Mika loved it and the letters will mean a lot to him, especially if most of us managed to avoid too much gushing "Marry me" type stuff (I hope we did!) - I mean, he sees enough of that on here eh? Thanks again
  4. Too young Freddie! Don't worry, you didn't miss a great deal:naughty:
  5. Do any other oldlings remember the 70s vinyl compilation series HOT HITS??? Bad cover versions of 70s classics, always with a photo of a scantily clad sexy lady on the sleeve...
  6. This so called "offence" is no. 48 in the charts today and hasn't even been released as a single download yet. Hmm. Someone somewhere thinks it is a bit catchy and memorable!
  7. I was bullied too. It's hard to speak out about it, but I'm glad Mika did, eventually. He is a great role model for bullied kids. Above all he never compromised his individuality and look at him now, he is having the last laugh;good for him
  8. Eyup, that woh rate intrestin sarah, ta cock! I must brush up my Barnsley accent!! It is Scots/Geordie that are supposed to be the easiest on the ear though eh. We have a few of those on here I think:wink2:
  9. Mika-holic, I will share my Mika with you if i can add you too. Until you get your own Mika!
  10. i am a myspace newbie too, not many Freinds as yet, apart from Mika! I'm older than your average myspacer so don't know many people 'in the real world' to add and would like some mikamaniac 'friends' so anyone feel free to add me
  11. 'Sad' can be used in a self-mocking way to mean you think you've done something a bit silly or crazy or pathetic - nothing to do with the opposite of 'happy'. I'm sure this is what MikaRMS means. I use this word about myself all the time in relation to Mika!!
  12. Everyone is entitled to an opinion but poor Mr. Salisbury, I fear he is tone deaf
  13. although officially my hb knows nothing, he does strongly suspect me of committing mikadultery....
  14. robertina u are lucky - at least your husband knows about your obsession - I am still a mikasneaker, ie husband still largely in the dark!!
  15. mikavoid an enforced total absence of Mikaspeak and Mika music, such as on romantic weekend away with one's partner, when the merest mention or suggestion of anything Mika-related would result in divorce. Just had one of these.....
  16. I have stomach ache from laughing at this thread...genius! I am MIKAMIZING as we speak!!! <clicks on minimise button as husband is heard coming up the stairs>
  17. I agree. And I also love your username!! I wish I had thought of that first as it definitely would suit me! I'm sure YOU aren't, though
  18. She's got it baaaad! Just like us! She should definitely join up with us on MFC What a great review, spot on, it has made my day
  19. it's a mighty fine song1 And I hate it when people say it sounds like Sesame Street - er, no, it DOESN't!!!!
  20. We Europeans eagerly await you reporting back to us!! Happy viewing..
  21. On Sivan's myspace page - go to her member profile to get the link YOU WILL MELT WITH LUURVE FOR MIKA!
  22. There is another shift in your perception of your parents when you have your first child. That's a weird one too!
  23. I thought that song might be about a conflict with his father (?) but this ^^ also makes sense. It's very true about that early 20s transition thing.. I was abroad on my Uni "year out" at the time and suddenly started to really appreciate my parents as people, perhaps because they were no longer right there...And it continues with increasing age. I'm late thirties now and appreciate my folks more and more by the day and still need them!
  24. oops forgetting this is the TeeTotal Thread <puts the Babycham back in the drinks cabinet and locks it>
