Ooof, that's frustrating. But to be honest, I had no idea or wasn't expecting anyone else to do the cover, I was just putting it out there to get a consensus.

I edited my first post and took out the characters sitting on the fingers, I was never very fond of it,either.

The whole character thing, was throw in last minute because of the whole 'bringing people together' part, but to be honest, I don't like it either! I'm gunna take it out. But I'm glad you like the rest, as well as the "Where's Billy?" idea! And I wasn't aware YOU were drawing the cover, I was putting something out there, sorry to put pressure on you! I was planning on sketching this out on paper and trying to do it on photoshop too, before I put it in someone else's hands. Enjoy your trip!

I just thought of a way to combine all those when I read them listed like that. What if we had the palm of a hand (wearing a white glove) flat out with pieces of confettin in the middle, just slightly sticking out from underneath a 'cystal ball' sitting on top of it, with clouds on it, like those misty purple clouds and INSIDE the crystal ball,a circus, and just madness. It would look really cool on a black background. thoughts?

thank you, and yes I agree with you. But I mean, he always has had a 'circus master' approach to the art and music he creates weather there's a man with stilts on his stage or not.

It'd be awesome if we had just a page under the art section that was like "Where's BIlly?" like "Where's Waldo?"

I really really like the circus idea. I wasn't a big fan either of the whole 'idea' of the earth holding hands, it kinda sounded cheesy to me.

Well, i've never done OFFICIAL stuff like this. But promoting artists is what I love to do, even if it's little thingsl ke myspace bulletins, or passing a CD to a friend. It makes a difference and it's amazing when you see that person become famous. (Sara Bareilles)

Haha, Sarah Bareilles But yeah, her voice is just beautiful, and I actually saw her with Mika twice, Gramercy which was his first NY show a few months prior to Nokia,and then Nokia. I never go to this thread much, but really I'm like a really really big fan of hers,haha.

I have an idea of like, at the very top, half of a pinata that has already been destroyed (a dragon or something japanese type pinata) and explosions of confetti everywhere,but we could just make that the 'border' only not so..structured. and have the choosen design in the middle of it?
