  1. Then they will eat it!!

  2. I wish I had one but my cats will scratch it :sneaky2:

  3. Yes you can buy them in the same shops where you get Tofu dolls. I bought one in Japan. The picture in my avatar is actually a piece of furmiture and not one of the little toys. Like this

  4. So what do you think of the French songs now? I think if someone sang "like the sun" in English I would hate such a cheesy line but it sounds very pretty in French.

  5. Oh wow I haven't posted on your wall since 2008

  6. What's the matter, you never seen a bunny with a moustache before? :mf_rosetinted:

  7. I just wanted to switch it up. :wink2: I like this one, but it's not as easy to erase the background because it's white on white.

  8. Hey I wanted to show you, I think the set does have something to do with the grandfather. I can't see the pics at the moment, but one of Hippie's pics shows all the people going into a "textiles" factory. That's how the grandfather made his fortune.

  9. Ha! I don't know what to believe. There are details missing I'm sure. In 2007 some people speculated that he didn't really have dyslexia proper, but I wonder if he always had it and it just wasn't such a noticeable problem. I think Mika "memories" are probably largely his family's stories. The one about the garbage men bringing him home all the time when he was sleepwalking were the craziest. I mean how many times can that happen? Once your kid gets out one time, you make sure it never happens again. He made it sound like his parents just counted on the garbage men to bring him home and didn't worry too much about it. :lmfao:

  10. Heya! You are so lucky it's going to be great!! :fangurl:

Since I haven't been there since 1998 I actually hope the people you will be with know more than I do :roftl:

What is the plan? Are you going with family or is it some kind of program where you will be chaperoned, etc? Are you travelling all over the country or just staying at the rhino sanctuary/Kruger Park?

  11. And I know all you wanna do is make me happy :fisch:

  12. That is awesome. I was just wondering what he did with the hoodie. I assumed he binned it :lmfao:

Thanks so much for letting me know. :huglove:

  13. Wow!!! Where did that come from??

  14. If you want advice on the hotel, then ask in the gig thread and hopefully the girls in Montreal can help you. I know there are cheaper hotels in a suburb of Montreal that is a bit closer to the balloon festival. Then you won't have to travel all the way back to downtown Montreal on the night of the gig.

  15. You want to find a train going from the Toronto station to the Montreal station. There are a couple of options to choose from but you don't want to pick a train that is going via Ottawa as it takes much longer. The 6:40 am train will get you to Montreal by noon (and then it's about 40 minutes to get to the balloon festival town), but you have to leave very early as you still need to get from Oakville to Toronto.

You can probably take the later train at 9:25 am and still get to the balloon festival by around 4 pm.

Whichever one you choose hit the "select and continue" button and this will take you through to the return train from Montreal to Toronto.

Choose another train to get you back to Toronto. You will have more options if you are not in a rush to get back.

  16. Once you have selected both trains you should see a confirmation page like this and then you can go ahead and purchase the tickets. (You can buy both tickets at once by selecting 2 people when you search for trains.)

  17. When would you like to leave and come back? I will try to find the best trains for you and give you some screencaps to show you which ones to pick.

  18. Mika is supposed to be on at 9:15 so it may end around 11 pm, but I can't say for sure.

  19. Oh, haha!! He is so cute!!! :fangurl: I went to see Mika in Japan and there is an amazing toy store in Tokyo with these type of toys. I brought a little Smorking Labbit (like my avatar) back with me for my desk at work. :)

  20. Good luck. Looking forward to seeing you there!! :biggrin2:

  21. It's 40 km from Montreal. We are staying in a hotel in the festival town but it's already booked up but there may be some rooms at the Holiday Inn. http://www.hiexpress.com/hotels/us/en/st.-jean-sur-richelieu/zbmqc/hoteldetail I think it's about 3 km from the festival.

  22. Hi Camille. I hope you had a lovely birthday. :flowers2:

  23. Yes you can do that. There are buses that go from Montreal to the festival that leave every hour from 1 to 5 pm. If you want to take the bus back to Montreal the last one leaves at 11:30 pm. Does your mom drive? It may be better to rent a car especially if you want to stay later to try to meet Mika. There are only a couple of motels in the town and they are booking up fast so you will probably have to go back to Montreal if you don't book a hotel soon.

  24. If you wait until closer to the date you risk the prices going up. When do you think you'll know if you can go? Do you have someone to go with you?
