  1. You could plan in advance with fellow MFCers who are going to meet up someplace But it's good if you know them fairly well lol
  2. Hi, and btw, I love MJ too About your fears; A lot of my friends feel the same way and are stunned that I dare to travel by myself so confidently outside of Sweden as often as I do, being a woman. The best advice I could give you is to prepare the best you possibly can before you go on your trip; Look up time tables and print them out and the most important thing to do: Check out the streets of the city/cities you're going to on Google Maps. Use the yellow figure and put him anywhere on the map you want and you can "walk around" and learn the streets so you can feel confident that you won't get lost. Also; Don't walk around places where there's hardly any people late at night by yourself; Take a cab back to your hotel However, if you don't feel confident and are frightened then you shouldn't travel by yourself in my opinion. If you're too young maybe you should go with a parent or sibling? And also; Meet up with MFCers when you're there
  3. I didn't think it was that chaotic that it needed this much discussion but whatever; Moving on; this leads nowhere cause people are gonna do whatever they want whether we approve of it or not.
  4. What happened to this thread?? Yes there was a bit of mobbing around Mika at the party but it wasn't that bad. He wasn't going to stay longer anyway, he was just popping in, but maybe I'm not complaining because he eventually did come to our table. But why discuss it this much (how many pages now with no pics and vids)?? I want pix and vids people Anyway, I would just like to say that I had an absolutely amazing few days with Nina, Karin and our awesome Swatch crew who took care of us and treated us as if we were celebrities or something We even got our own private professional photographers, a bus just for us which took us everywhere, our own very cool tour guide who was supersweet, and three lovely Swatch team leaders who made sure we had everything we needed. We got free visits to fancy restaurants and cafés, got to visit the Tate Museum and see the incredible paintings of Paul Klee, visit historic places and get insightful information about them from our tour guide. I adore Lady Diana so I asked him a lot about her. And I'm still in awe that they paid for our fancy hotel stay and flights + transportation! Not bad for Second Place winners Meeting the employees of Swatch and Mika was fun as well of course; One of the girls who worked there was Swedish/Finnish (like me and Nina!). We chatted a bit to Mika, gave him some gifts, took a horrible photo of him and us (well, I looked horrible; the rest looked like normal people), then went off to the after party which was in the basement of a pub just down the street from the Swatch store. Very intimate and cool pub! I had such a wonderful time and I've been to a lot of parties but this one was definitely one of my all time favorites! Met some awesome and sweet people and got a bit too drunk which I haven't been in ages it seems; I'm getting old; So thanks to Mika for this fun evening! I don't like to flatter him too much but what a cool person he is for doing this for his fans; I think it's great PR for him as well. People will start to talk and know that Mika's a special type of artist who gives back to his fans eventually if he keeps doing these types of cool things. *Hint Hint* Anyway thank you all for congratulating us on our win! If anyone wants to see my photos, just add me as a friend on Facebook.
  5. That drawing is absolutely incredibly gorgeous! Well done!
  6. Thank you! I hope so too 'cause it's so much nicer than the blue one
  7. Congrats to everyone and thanks Wish you could all get his watch too
  8. The collectors edition disappeared from the Swedish Swatch Shop too now, I wonder why?
  9. Typical... The yellow one is the only one I kind of like (eventhough the eyes and teeth of the mask creep me out) and it's the most expensive one. I guess it comes with that creepy collectors box but I think I'll wait unless I have to buy one in London or win one via NetHunt.
  10. It's getting really boring, I agree. Would like some new music and concerts, but I guess we'll see what'll happen. Until then I guess we who can't stand his side projects will have to try to be patient...
  11. I would only wear it like that. It looks nicer on the inside lol
  12. I like the colors but not that ugly beastlike creature's face, but happy he's got his own collection for Swatch.
  13. The #1 team beat everyone it seems but who knows. It's been fun, thanks to my lovely MFC friends, love you girls and it's been a pleasure But my back is killing me now lol
  14. Thank you all However it seems that at least four teams are ahead of us but just hadn't finished after 50 beats after the puzzle but me and the girls are hopeful and will fight 'til the bitter end to try and win
  15. Yeah I've been having a great time waking up and solving puzzles with you girls! Has been fun and exciting
  16. I wish Swatch would update the top list accurately, like one beat after each task instead of 50 beats because it's really annoying I don't get excited about us being in the top now 'cause I think many teams have scores higher than us but just solved the puzzle after 50 beats. So confusing...
  17. Who's this Ben Wishaw guy? He doesn't look the least bit middle eastern to me so I'm not too keen on him portraying Freddie, but I don't want to judge his talents if I haven't even heard of him. If Sacha wasn't known for being a funny guy, I think they would've kept him on board for the film ('cause apparently he wasn't wanted eventually).
  18. I was saddened that Sacha Baron Cohen left the Freddie movie, it seems unlikely that they're going to make it now, but if Mika was a good actor and gained a little weight, he could portray him I suppose. But to me, these photos make him look like count dracula with that back slicked hair and all lol
  19. How could some people say this one was easy?? It was tricky as hell
  20. Aww that's too bad, Christine Not at all fair that they're starting it at the same time every day for the fans outside Europe and people who work and/or study at that time. How about your team mates? Couldn't they work on the riddles at that time?
  21. Same here, it's fun in a disturbing way lol I feel like Batman trying to figure out the Riddler's riddles or something.
