  1. I asked him today if he will be doing any gigs in the States or/and in Canada. He said that there are plans for such a tour. More likely Canada. So it seems that we weren't dreaming :-) The gig was amazing - as always. I just love the energy you get from a Hamel gig! Was having a great time with Tina, Sasje & Leator. Chatted with Wouter and the band afterwards, they are all lovely. In the hotel with Tina now, she says hey. Tomorrow: Mainz! :-)
  2. I think he just NEEDS to tour Canada and the US. I mean, he would most definitely be selling out a lovely cozy club tour, wouldn't he?! T4p! It's hilarious! And dank je wel for all the screens, too!
  3. I'm pretty positive he'll be playing there anytime soon.
  4. I also prefer the 2nd one to the 1st one - as a whole.
  5. Thanks for the link, Dutchie! Was just watching it, but didn't succeed in downloading it either... Anyone?!
  6. Oh yeah, some new gig we can look forward to *fingers crossed*
  7. Wow! That's really great they published the original English version, too! I really enjoyed reading it! either way, I can't wait to read more...it's a nice way waiting for the next album, isn't it?!
  8. Thank you everyone for reports etc.! That's amazing news since it sounds like it was an incredible gig that really made an impression!
  9. Thank you for the reports, pix and vids so far! Sounds like a very memorable gig! Can't wait to read more.
  10. yes, it always depends on what time 50/100/... fans have shown up - which is different at every gig. For example at the Stuttgart gig in March there were only about 25 people there by 5pm while in Colmar number 100 was given at 11:30am iirc.
  11. Thanks for more reports! ooops, now who would that be? I was really trying not to move too much when I saw you were filming... edit: @Suzie: Yes, you should definitely do that! ;-)
  12. a short video of the M&G by margriet2505 (he's just revealing his dog's name) and the same moment by amandine1993
  13. Heya!

Just to inform you, I handed the money for the Stasbourg ticket to Lillibet in Colmar. ;-)

Hope to meet you in Arbon?!

  14. Hey!

I think that Zürich airport is closer to Arbon than Milan (I'd say this one is very far away). Trains from Zurich airport to Arbon central station are about 1:20. From Friedrichshafen airport (in Germany) it is about the same time.

Hope you'll find the flight you need!

    See you there! :)

  15. just read on a French forum that Mika told some fans at the M&G that he will be back in Europe in 6 months. I thought this might interest some of you And this is an excellent video of OMS (by dede1708)
  16. now, as for the-m&g after the gig... I can literally feel the MFC-love while reading this thread. Thank you everyone for your words Reminds me again why I love this community so much! well, of course we were a bit disappointed when we learnt that we missed out on a great organised m&g, but it was just a misunderstanding and I would also like to say THANK YOU to everyone trying to organise some more wrostbands for us! Thank you Fanny and Lillibet and everybody else. And thank you Elodie/slavaniet for explaining how the wristband-distribution went. I mean, yeah, the security woman could have or should have handed out the wristbands more carefully and some people shouldn't have pretended to have a number, but well, that's how things go... John btw, Axie. I already told you yesterday but it was a real pleasure to see you in Colmar yesterday. I bet your daughter had an unbelievable birthday experience. Am I?! So I prefer not to overdiscuss that now, and instead to enjoy all of the lovely reports and pix posted from that M&G! Thank you so much for sharing (@Kate)! Anybody took any vids? I honestly can't believe how generous Mika and his team are. Doing such M&Gs with champagne and all is simply something which we can't appreciate enough. THANK YOU! Can't wait to read more reports. Spill the beans girls (and boys)!
  17. I only have time now to go online, didn't have my laptop with me last night... THANK YOU everyone for reports, pix & vids so far. Will work my way through them after I'm done with my report. The gig was absolutely amazing! I am really happy I went there and could experience this amazing atmosphere The supporting act Pony pony run run were brilliant live and the crowd was already cheering and dancing like wild before Mika had even sung one note. A great supporting act choice. Will definitely go and see them on their autumn tour! Mika was on fire and very talkative - loved it! I also loved the baloons, our hawaii necklaces and our fluorescent make-up. Made the waiting and the gig itself so much more fun! From the first note everyone was going crazy. I was really really enjoying myself at this gig. We were standing just in front of Jimma. I just love watching the two of them having fun on stage! Finally I got to see Mika playing "Kick ass" live. I guess I can tick that off my Mika-to-do-list now I absolutely loved the Relax-encore! Such a fabulous end to this party! Oh yes, these were two great moments! Cherisse:"Bonjour. Je m'appelle Cherisse." There was another funny moment when someone threw a pink cuddly toy on stage (for his dog) - and Mika was like "It's horrible. My dog has got taste!" : (Btw: lovely name he chose for his puppy ) Mika and the band were brilliant! So was the crowd. I always love French Mika gigs because the French fans are all so Mika-crazy (in a positive way)! And after all my Mika-fangurl-career (ha! ) started when I was living in France, so hey...see the coherence?! But this gig was definitely on of the best Mika gigs I have seen so far. Was my 23rd Mika gig and this one has definitely made it in my top 3! lol, yeah, probably. though I didn't really see so much wine in the exposition hall. Was really wondering why it is called Foire aux vins then...hehe Thank you Mika, thank you the band, thank you John, thank you Mika-fans (loved Qing this time, although it was raining at times) @Sabine: Sorry for annoying you with my little nervous breakdowns all the time But I just can't help worrying about too many things before I'm in a venue.
  18. Hey Allegra!

Of course I do remember that. Will try to find Lillibet and give her the money, no problem at all.

    can't wait for Sunday!

  19. Ja, ich liebe Französisch. Eine wunderschöne Sprache! In Köln? Geburtstag, also auch schon wieder 8 Jahre her!
