  1. Wow Sivan that is amazing. Di you have to use special gems and special glue to stick them on or can you use any type of gem/sequins? I had a T-shirt especially designed for me once. It was when Embrace re-appeared after a 2 year absence with the release of 'Gravity'. I had the lyrics "Its Been a long time waiting..." printed on the front and "....and I can't stop smiliing" and underneath Embrace 2004 printed on th back. I thought that mine was good but it pales into comparison with yours!
  2. It's brilliant that he is getting airtime so early before the release, especially considering many stations are still playing Love Today very fequently (and also Grace Kelly seemingly so in the last two weeks) Soon Mika will take over the airwaves completely!!!
  3. I've requested to be www.myspace.com/mikaangels' s friend. Everybody elas should join in too
  4. Yes it is his own work. The only song of his that sound like another is Stuck in the Middle, where the start sounds like a Scissors Sisters song
  5. Welcome Susis. What an awesome first post!
  6. I hope Carrie and Jemma get picked for this. It would have made more sense for them to just post on this website about the documentary as they are more likely to find a 'die-hard' Mika fan on here than anywhere else. Although I suppose it is only fair to give every 'Mika' fan an equal chance I would have loved to have applied for this but as much as I love mika I would never consider myself as a die-hard fan as no-one can compete with half of you lot. I am more of a lurker, on here and at gigs!!! hopefully we will hear the results soon. In the meantime I shall just register on the vodafone music site and hope to get normal tickets.
  7. The Plymouth Pavillions, whilst being a very long drive away from me, is the most appealing gig of all of them! I went to see Darren Hayes there a few years ago and it is literally a leisure centre!! It is extremely intimate and they had a sloping floor so most people had a decent view. If I haven't bankrupted myself by buying too many tickets by then, I would really, really love to go to this gig.
  8. I went to see Embrace at Doony Dome a few months back and apart from the Mika Gig in Birmingham a few weeks ago it was the hottest and sweatiest gig I have ever been too. Wherever you are standing/sitting there is a very very good view and they have quite a decent sized stage too.
  9. I love the Brixton Academy, it is one of my favourite gig venues in the UK. thesound there is great and whilst it has quite a large capacity it is very intimate in there
  10. A mika Doll would be quite ace actually!! I, ashamedly, have Lee and H steps dolls but in my defence they were bought for me as a present many, many years ago!!!
  11. Hi caz having read a lot of your posts and seen your wonderful video I think you are a born entertainer BUT whilst you are 18 years of age and, realistically, now is the time to be pursuing your dreams before settling down, you should really consider all your options carefully. As people have mentioned, a lot of the lollipop girls seem to be friends/family of his and from what I can gather, often change frequently. If you go and sign up to an agency then there is a possibility that they will make you do other gigs aas well as Mika's, thats even if you're lucky enough to get a part as a lollipop girl. As far as I am aware there is no such 'lollipop girl' agency and any agency girls used are from different ones across the country. These girls work some really ****ty hours and like your family have already expressed, work for some ****ty people too so please bear that in mind. If you are lucky enough to fulfil your dream then I wish you all the luck in the world, you certainly would be fantastic at it!
  12. Hi Jo, those pictures are ace, especially the flashing pop art style one
  13. can I be a Mika Angel too? I work in a small solicitors office (only 5 of us including me) and have managed to spread the joy and infectiousness of Mika to all of them and they in turn have converted their loved ones My one colleague, Helen, has two young daughters and she bought the album for them and now they are Mika Maniacs too.
  14. This site is by far the most resourceful and frequented site with regards to Mika. the amount of information on here is unparralled to any other site I have visited and in no way should be banned? form the wikipedia Mika page.
  15. Everyone is really friendly on here, thank you so much for your welcomes
  16. Hi all, my name is Gemma I am 21 and I live in Wales. I suppose I am a relatively new Mika fan compared to most of you on here, I have been into his music since the release of Grace Kelly, one of the finest pop songs of the year! I browse the forum often and though that I would plunge into the wonderful, wacky world of Mika by registering today. I went to the Birmingham gig on Thirsday and have to say that it was the most enjoyable and fun gig that I have ever been too I really love the way the forum is set out and there is so much stuff on here, it is great
