  1. yep, It's done with the microphone on my computer, but that's not a very professional thing I tried to play the piano a quiet as possible, but still... thanks for your feedback! I appreciate your honesty!
  2. Yep, that's indeed what it looks like. He's done everything for the world to get to know him. And that worked. We know him, well, his music. As for the fame... that's indeed a whole different story. For someone who was once hated and bullied by so many people, it must be strange and maybe even terrifying to be so loved suddenly. The only place were he seems at ease (well, apart from when he's with friend, family ofcourse) is when he's on stage. And also when he's with fans (I think) I think he just underestimated the impact of fame on his personal life!
  3. yes!! indeed! I thought I was the only one thinking that! There are no new interviews whatsoever, even though he has won so many prices and had so many nominations for his album.
  4. I know. I was playing devil's advocate. I said the opposite in my next sentence.
  5. ok, I might regret this but I tried a little something myself... http://www.sendspace.com/file/8y05ku don't put in anywhere yet, it's just a first experiment!
  6. This is what I do for LT: B----------------------E-Fis I've been crying for so long B----------------------E-Fis Fighting tears just to carry on A---------E-----------Fis-------B-------E-Fis But now, but now, it's gone away Bm--------------------A------ Hey girl why can't you carry on E----------------------Fis Is is cause you're just like your mother And that's it basically! I don't have the book myself, I learned it by ear, but it sounds good to me! ps: I don't know if you use "Fis". It means the black key between F and G
  7. It's what we call a "Freudiaanse verspreking" (Freud-ian slip of the tongue) when you intend to say one thing, but your brain is thinking about something else and therefore you say... CHICKEN !!!
  8. I saw the Facebook-account too. I believed it was an official one. That's awful. They were probably hoping hoping for information from his friends. And if you think about it, all joking aside: he's JUST a guy singing songs about Lollipops! End of story. We tend to put him on a throne sometimes (well.... most of the time:naughty: ) but if you take a step back and look at it from a more distant position, he is ONLY a singer... Press can ruine someones life. I mean, we have all done or said things that can be used against us somehow. Especially when you put them out of their context. I hate this thought. Really, I do
  9. it's just a very thin line. If it's already on the internet, why not post it. It's not like you're hiding in his garden taking pictures yourself. On the other hand: people like Perez don't take pictures themselves either, but I still think he posts some very intrusive pictures sometimes. It's been said maaaaany times before: you have to censure (vocabulary?) yourself, but different people have different standards.
  10. yep indeed. That's a scary thought. Like, people have a Facebook account with a certain amount of information, they have a Flickr account with other things, same for Youtube, Myspace, msn,... and if you're patient and clever enough (and if you have bad intentions) you can puzzle all these things together and learn A LOT about someone... You just have to keep in mind that everything you put on internet might eventually be seen by basically everyone.
  11. ok don't want to sound judgemental (because I don't know what you are referring to) but I think that's a big trap with internet. People tend to tell things because it's "not real" and they can just write things down without having to show their faces. But anyway, don't want to be involved in things that I don't know the story behind
  12. sorry 300 posts? really??? I thought I didn't post often....
  13. you mean like this? (I can't get it bigger... )
  14. It certainly is! But I like Brussels too... very much actually!
  15. Hello! That's great news! I see you're Belgian too? That's even better Where are you from?
  16. Using such scientific terms makes you look less subjective. like: "well doctor, looks like we're having an excellent example of a well-developped biceps femoris here" (with a British accent and a concentrated face)
  17. here's an excellent example of that: http://it.youtube.com/watch?v=JxpMUV5bCsw check 0:36 coincidence?
  18. Yeah! He does that big time! Especially in the beginning of Relax after the first time he sings the chorus. There's a small instrumental intermezzo and he al-ways screams: "che-mooo"
  19. as much as I want it to be CHICKEN... I must admit my brain tells me it really was a crappy-pronounced TICKET Mika, go see a logopedist (?)!
