this is a costume i designed: cobweb from a midsummer night's dream i also designed my prom dress. i sew like crap so my mom did it. she's a master...literally. close-up top (black beading) all of it (the little scrunch parts have peacock feathers and black beading) p.s. don't mind the 'police blackout.' oh! and if i designed stuff for mika they would be: hats, lanyards, socks/ipod sock. i saw the "sock" for ipods the other day:roftl: ...awkward. i guess they get cold, too?

oh my goodness! that is horribly adorable and clever! i think he could handle that fish.

hey! i'm going to see bug tonight. i have no idea what it's about! (i believe it's part of the experimental theatre showcase) but it's only for adults, so- yay me! i'll have to post later what it's about and stuff. if you've seen it, i wouldn't mind hearing your opinions of it. just DON'T TELL ME THE END! AFTER THE FACT: ok! i saw it! i was horribly confused for a while (like when i saw speed of darkness). it's something you have to stick with, but it got good fast. it's about this woman who has to deal with her ex-husband (who tried to kill her) getting out of jail. the woman's friend brings over this guy. the woman and guy get together. stuff happens after that. i don't want to spoil the ending (unless people want to know), but it was pretty awesome. the ending scene involved amazing light work! the spFX make-up was beautiful! there was blood involved for stuff, and omgosh! sooo cool! (you can tell b/c all of the exclamation marks) yay!

i totally would do this! hopefully, i can go. the shelina crew says: "ROAD TRIP!":punk:

hey peoples! i moved to school friday! i almost had a freakout. for a couple of days the site wouldn't work here! but now it's working. yay! i start class tomorrow! and i think i have to audition for oedipus also. not so sure. i also got my books yesterday and i was so happy! i was flipping through my scene/light design book and had myself a dorky cute time. that's my theatre news for the day. how you doin'?

i've always wanted to go to one of the rocky horror showings, but i've never been able to go. oh my goodness! the movie hairspray was beautiful! i loved the color and brightness! john waters and his cameo= when queen latifah sang "i know where i've been", i had a single-tear moment. i'm a dork. "how can a month have an idea?":roftl: my 3 friends and i laughed so hard! then we realized we were the only ones laughing. (yay for remembering stuff!)

i'm super nervous because i'm leaving for school in 2 days! i don't know if i'll be up to the "standards" in my specialized classes since my training, while good, was not as great as others. (a lot of teacher switching) but, i sat in one of the lighting classes and they were reviewing for a quiz. a lot of the kids couldn't remember what a gobo was. and i'm a total gobo-maniac! i don't know particulars, but i can use it. (anywhere they can go, slap one up there) so that made me feel kind of special thought i'd share and try to cheer myself up. it worked:biggrin2:

i'm glad this hasn't turned into a "be guilty or die" kind of thing. it's a thinking person's thread (or eventually a debate team)

i just got an image: all of us wearing bright colored tunics, flowers in our hair, fluttering around, handing out-MIKA beads! (symbolizing this thread's rosaries) we must pass the respect! p.s. for some reason i piped in sound to that image and it gave me "we are the world" for BG music. hm...

my thoughts exactly! i think if i made myself horribly guilty about jokes and things i would be condemning a very human part myself. (vis-a-vis my personality) it's a part to control and monitor, but you have to accept it. so no guilty people! but maybe liberated? as for those hecklers: if someone really wanted to show appreciation, of the real kind, then they wouldn't be so idiotic to say such things. ESPECIALLY at a concert. way to go on their first impression. dummies. with all that said, i would also like to participate! please and thank you.

the channel is called BBC America on my digital cable, comcast, it's channel 226 but i'm in tx, so i don't know if it's a different # on digital like how regular channels are regional
