story time: i was in the kitchen with my mom. (oOoOO) p.s. she's a tiny (4'9") asian women who speaks english well, but with a heavy accent. it'll help the picture in you head, besides she's adorable! i was talking to my best friend on the phone (she knows about chicken). so at the end of our conversation i said, "may the chicken be with you." she said, "and with you." (big hahaha's) and we hung up. 10 minutes later, my dad was with the both of us in the kitchen and my mom busts out laughing and says, "'may the chicken be with you.' oh, man! that's funny." of course i know what she's talking about, but seeing as it was 10 minutes later and no longer relevent, i died laughing. my poor dad just said, "um, ok." hope you enjoyed it.

the college i'm going to is doing that for the last show of the 07-08 season. when i looked up our schedule, i almost cried. i've seen the movie, but not the stage show i am horribly excited!!

JEALOUSY ensues! i have yet to see a broadway show oh, one day. but seriously, all those shows-that's amazing!

my dog, milo, is hardcore snoring. not like some cute, puppy-like snore it's a full-on, old man, deep-breathing excercise. thought i'd share maybe he's dreaming?

i'm excited and scared about school! i have exactly one week until it starts, but i'm moving to the dorms friday. pros -moving in w/my best friend -taking interesting classes -hanging around campus -getting a job/managing my own money cons -leaving my car (i will miss him. my sweet carmine!) -getting a job/maybe no money to manage -leaving my puppies, milo & vladimir -bad homework (yes, there's both kinds: good & bad) i hope everyone finds something good about school, though. no sense in making a sad situation worse. p.s. for now, you can be sad.

idk if this is up, but: i went to the "future listings" on my digital cable and found out that FOXRC is going to re-air Mika's performance on 'So You Think You Can Dance.' (they're going through all of the shows of this season like they've done with 'American Idol Rewind.') i don't know how everyone elses' cable/tv stuff works, but it's a heads up. info digital cable provider: comcast when: aug. 8/14, tomorrow! time: usa central, 2:30-3:30 p.m. i don't have a lot of answers, but feel free to ask me anything and i'll go ask my tv

aw , i was all ready to break out my sewing machine and pleat some ribbon. but if i tried pleating ribbon, the attempted rosette would sewn to my fingers. a permanent reminder of my love of promotion and mika. ...maybe that wouldn't be so bad. p.s. pleated ribbon exists? i have not wondered around the craft store long enough.

may i be added? please and thank you! a lollipop search story: i was telling my friend about the int. where mika gets the huge lollipop from the interviewer, and she said she didn't know what a 'chupa chups' lolly was. so i said, "let's search it, because if you see it, i swear you'll remember it." but i had been thinking it was a 'chupa chupa' lolly since i haven't seen the logo in ages, so that is what i searched. much to both of our surprise, we found out she didn't have a filter on her searches and we found quite naughty pictures. (my mexican friend later told me what 'chupa chupa' means in spanish.) so now, 'chupa chupa' is code for such incidents/relatable topics. hope it brightened up your day!
