Hello all. I got music and maths extension (I only did this one yesterday afternoon!) back today. I passed them both. I was really pleased with maths extension. The study really paid off. I wasn't too pleased with music but the teacher marked them really harshly, so it's okay. Well, Brian and Roger haven't really addressed it yet. I'm waiting for Brian to give an explanation on his website. But there was a piece of news posted saying.. 'The next time Rodgers tours, it probably won’t be with Queen. After spending a lot of time with them the past couple years, it seems he’s amicably parted ways with the legendary group. “Well, you know, we did a world tour, we did a second tour of Europe and the Far East and Eastern Europe and we did a studio album and I think we’re kind of leaving it there gently. It’s out there for us to do things in the future if there’s something, a huge charity say like Nelson Mandela, I’m always open to that, but I think we are pretty much done.”' I know! I can't wait! I'm getting it for my birthday (9th of June)! You're insane! But that's completely amazing!!! How exciting!

I'm more annoyed that Brian May and Roger Taylor seem to have parted ways with Paul Rodgers without even coming to Australia once! But I can forgive them for anything.

I'm not really sad. I know that Mika will get here eventually and I'll be happy to see him when he does. We may all be 70 years old and in wheelchairs by then, but we can do it!

I didn't expect much, but... le sigh!

Haha, yeah. In previous years I've been annoyed with how long it's taken teachers to mark tests, assignments, etc.. Now I think it's because they put all the priority into marking year 11 and 12 work. Awesome! My mum likes Bob Evans. He's pretty good.. But I like Lily Allen's version of 'Not Fair' more.

Wowza! Today I did my maths extension exam. Very hard! I also got a few more exams back today. Nothing amazing, but I passed all of them.

Hello everyone! I'm happy to see a bit more life in the Aussie thread! I got a few of my exams back today. Maths and religion were very good! But physics wasn't great.. But I did pass! I think I got around the class average, maybe a little higher. But the class did pretty poorly as a whole. But I'm happy! Today after english extension and my lifts were late by about 20 minutes. So we had a good old chat! And I didn't make a fool of myself. We discussed the end of the world, amongst other things.

Hurrah! Hmm, yeah. I think that's likely. What do you all think of these rumours about the American Idol guy singing with them? I can't say I'd be too happy about it.. But just a little (maybe one song) collaboration would be great.

I've now finished all exams but one (maths extension). I'm very hapy that this week is over. The cold I've been developing is now full-blown so throughout today's music and english extension exams (both of which required a lot of writing) I was pretty much on autopilot. I just wrote by instinct and given my lack of the ability to breathe properly it was probably a load of rubbish. But I'm just relieved that they're almost done.

It is. But two of the subjects (the extensions) are only one unit each. So it adds up to 14 units, or the equivalent of 7 normal subjects.

Well, in year 11 our minimum is only 6 and in year 12 the minimum is 5. But I'm just insane and like to be cruel to my brain.

Yep.. I have maths tomorrow, music and english extension on Friday and maths extension next Tuesday. But I actually don't mind doing exams. One three out of five days I've had the whole afternoon off for sleep.

Physics was okay. I think I passed, but not very admirably.

Hmm.. I am also putting off work. I desperately need to study Physics for tomorrow morning but I just don't feel like it. This is the scariest one. I think I did okay on chemistry and religion!

I did my English exam this morning. Not too bad! I'm a bit worried about tomorrow though. Chemistry and Religion. I still need to study heaps.

Hmm yeah.. They don't grow around here.

Yes, I've been wondering why he's been so quiet as well. Even when he's been in some of the incredibly busy stages of recording and editing the Queen & Paul Rodgers album he took the time to write. Hmm..
