  1. Hmm, let's see. What's on my desk? Macbook, school folders and workbooks, pile of school textbooks, pencil case, box of my favourite films on DVD, exam timetable for next term, Ipod, mobile phone, learners driving logbook, lamp, 1995 adaption of Pride and Prejudice DVD. It's actually pretty tidy.
  2. Last night I dreamt that Kevin Rudd died. CONGRATULATIONS ZOE!!!
  3. I came back to read the thread and noticed a mistake.
  4. I can't say I'm a fan of Lady Gaga. I don't think her music is anything special and she just comes across as another young popstar trying to get attention. But I think Mika can spend time with whomever he chooses and if he enjoys her company, so be it. Did anyone watch her interview with Jonathan Ross the other week? It was hilarious, in a strange way.
  5. Hello happikali! I feel like watching a movie. Suggestions anyone?
  6. I had the strangest dream last night. I was pregnant (presumably by miraculous conception as there didn't seem to be a father) and everyone was really excited. Then there was this sort of montage that showed my belly growing. It ended up being huge! And then my water broke and they took me to this extremely dodgy hospital that only seemed to have the one room, which was mine. My family were there along with a couple of random and unexpected friends from school. For some reason we stayed at the hospital for a few days while we waited for me to go into labour. Then the hospital staff brought a heap of plants into my room saying that I had been indoors too long and needed to see some nature. A few more things then happened, which I have now forgotten, and just as I began to have contractions I woke up. How very frustrating. I spent all that time waiting for my dream baby and then it never arrived.
  7. Hello mouselle! We've all missed you! New blog (from me, not Mika), if anybody wants to read it. It's the first one I've written since the beginning of last term, so I had quite a bit to say. *points to signature*
  8. It must be because this is the first trailer to show that scene. I know! Up until now I've been pleasantly looking forward to it, but now I'm thinking "give it to me! I need it!" It looks so great.
  9. Indeed! This is the trailer - http://wbads-66.vo.llnwd.net/e1/wbmovies/halfbloodprince/trl4/Harry_Potter_4A_720.mov It takes ages to load, but it's worth it! The Katie Bell/cursed necklace scene looks absolutely stunning (and very scary).
  10. Mika is such a copycat! First he said that he joined Twitter so that he could follow Stephen Fry and now he's going on about Yo Gabba Gabba! That's my show! Has anybody else seen the new Harry Potter trailer? It's amazing!
  11. I think that's a lady's arm. In that movie he was kind of obsessed with her.
  12. I think I've fixed them. Here we go... Remember this? "Neck!"
  13. Argh, these pictures are annoying me. They are all too big.
  14. *got distracted by Colin Firth* Argh, yes! That bit really scares me. The eyes are disturbing. I may have told you this before, but he reminds me of a bird in that scene. Quite poetic, given his predisposition for birds with his hobby.. "stuffing things, you know, taxidermy!" Sorry, my friend and I constantly quote Norman from that scene. "The Parlour Scene", as our teacher called it. I know that scene completely inside out and back to front and could tell you every little piece of symbolism in it. We watched it over at least ten times. It certainly was. Yay! Go Anthony!
  15. Haha, I've heard a lot about that 'Shaun of the Dead' scene but I had never watched it. Thanks, it was really funny! Oh, yes. But Norman is too cute to scare me. I've also seen Hitchcock's 'The Birds' (quite scary) and 'Rear Window' (which I wouldn't really class as a horror but it had some elements). Yeah, 'House of Wax' wasn't great. But it was fun to see Paris Hilton die violently. Yep, it was the remake. 'The Exorcism of Emily Rose' has had the longest lasting affect on me. I'm still a little scared of 3am and I saw it about 4 years ago.
  16. I much prefer the romantic/drama sort of films. But comedies can be great when they're done properly. This afternoon I watched 'Bridget Jones' Diary' and have once again renewed my absolute love for Colin Firth. I think I can list all the horrors I've seen on one hand. Let's see.. House of Wax, The Exorcism of Emily Rose, Wolf Creek and Prom Night. And I still have a finger to spare! Unless you count me watching the little DVD introduction to The Ring before getting too creeped out and running from the room. You know what.. we haven't had any Anthony pictures in quite a while! *goes to search for some good ones*
  17. I haven't seen it but a couple of my friends saw it at the cinema a while back and even hearing them talking about it made me scared of reflective surfaces for a while. I'm not great with scary movies.
  18. Damn you! Congratulations Tegan (ft. the above formatting and smileys)!
  19. Haha, yes! I've been thinking of buying it, but I'm not exactly rolling in cash at the moment.
  20. Happy Easter everyone! I got chocolate! Haha, that reminds me.. I haven't written any blogs since the first day of last term.
  21. Haha, okay. Yes! And smart, artistic, funny... etc. Awesome!
