It's much easier to take the train from the airport, it only takes about 15 minutes to the Central Station, and from there you can get gazillions of busses and trams to the Museum square Seconded. Being seductive and beautiful isn't about size or age.

The ones I've made all have the most complicated stuff in them, rings and busks and whatever, but it would indeed be a quite good idea to start using zippers instead. I do use plastic boning, I already have a hard time breathing and moving with that, but the metal ones are just pure torture! I've never parked in there but I think it's really like so expensive you could like fly to a foreign country for the amount of money you pay for one day of parking but for a couple of hours it should be a bit more afforable I guess

I know loads of great free parkingspots in Amstelveen but they involve having to get tram 5, which stops right in front of the Concertgebouw. But if you really don't want anything to do with public transport then you should indeed park in the huge Byzantium garage, it's near Leidseplein so only a couple of minutes walk.
