The Ark do NOT sound like Abba! Seriously, maybe The Worrying Kind was a little bit Abba-ish but they're a rock band! Actually they sound like no other band in the world, even if you can hear a lot of influences from (getting properly on topic again) 70s glambands The Killers are a liiiitle bit glam though I suppose, they look very glammy and their music is also quite bombastic (I adore them btw)

I love The Crash too!! My friend from Tampere introduced me to them and they're brilliant. Btw do you like The Ark? They're Swedish of course but quite famous in Finland I think, and the are probably the glammiest band around today!

March 12th in Amsterdam, it was sold it within minutes but my friend got up early to be absolutely ready when they went on sale! Killers tix are surely the best thing to spend that 100 quid on

Roxy Music are pretty good but I do have to admit I should discover more about them since I only know the well known songs. But my faves will always be T.rex and Sweet Btw Marianne with you being from Finland, there's loads of great retro glambands in your country Jann Wilde, Negative, Lovex....

This thread needs a serious bump. I found a gorgeous Sweet LP on the second hand market and a Suzi Quatro one too. But seriously, weren't The Sweet just pure love? They aren't as genius and original as Bolan and Bowie but they are just sooo glammy and awesome and gorgeous! :mf_lustslow:

The Darkness were always SO awesome live but I have to say, even if I don't really listen to Mika anymore, he's a really amazing live artist, I'd go see a Mika gig any day! And I have to mention The Ark, they are just top entertainment BUT with great, deep songs, which is the best mix. But other then that I really love seeing smaller bands in little, smelly venues noone ever heard of, hence my love Stone Gods and The Answer

No srsly, she just accidently found out where he lived when she was chasing Jonne Aaron from Negative in the middle of the night, but that was only because she had to ask him if he wanted to have some hot chocolate we're both FAR from stalkers you know. I wish I was going to the MFC party! I'm so tempted to just stay in London after tomorrow

No seriously, I sent him a picture to show him the guitar I redecorated, but it just so happened that I was holding the guitar (not half undressed and in a suggestive pose or anything haha that would've been terrible) but I think he might've thought 'why is this strange Dutch girl telling me weird things on the phone and then sending me pictures of herself and showing off with her Marc Bolan knowledge' I'll just have to meet him now to show I'm not creepy my friend has already found out where he lives, lolzzz
