Certaines écoles publiques ont le port d'uniformes afin qu'il n'y est pas de " nombril à l'air" , mais la plupart des écoles privées ont des uniformes réglementaires, en plus de d'autres règlements (cheveux courts garçon etc...)

Hihihihihi ça me rappelle des souvenirs tous ces préparatifs scolaires XD Je pense que la pire année pour les préparations scolaires, était l'année que mon fils s'était cassé le fémur en jouant au football (football américain, pas le soccer) Il avait la jambe dans un plâtre à partir de la hanche jusqu'aux orteils Il allait à l'école privé avec uniforme, incluant les souliers. Cette année-là, l'école changeait d'uniforme et de fournisseur. Pour les chemises, vestes et chandails, c'était ok... Mais pour les pantalons et les souliers, c'était impossible. On a du aller directement chez le fournisseur 5 jours avant que l'école commence. XD

So did my father. His papers read "the eve of Sunday the 20th (not sure why) His mom insisted he was born on the 18th, but his paperwork showed as the 19th He celebrated on the 18th

Never heard of this. It's not even practical. It's winter. We'll all have long sleeves. There's no need for identification symbol. We're quite easy to recognize.
