  1. Yeah he has, the school has been great. Night night all.
  2. Something will happen to them though, they will turn into huge ducks and drakes!!! We had ducklings, after a few months the kids were too scared to go into the backyard they were both drakes though. We have a duck now, she is pretty cool, love their feet. Eggs are fantastic in cooking. They do huge yucky squirty poos though, but at least they don't scratch out all the dirt from the base of your plants like hens. I give her clean water and in less than 10 minutes she has turned the whole lot to mud
  3. I am hanging out to hear an 'album' version lol
  4. Funny, that insane repetitive stuff they have on video games doesn't seem to worry him most of the time (as long as he is the one playing). I am actually tearing my hair out with him at the moment, there is conference in Canberra on th 11th, I am going with his school teacher (and DH if i can convince him and find babysitter) to try and get some more direction.
  5. Well its screwed on right as in keeping things in perspective, and being an honest and reasonable person. I am a little bit unconventional though. My DS 16 is taller than me, no one believes he is my son, he dresses and acts older than me I have a sense of humour I am the strangest blend of shy and show off.
  6. Wow, I finally managedto find my post (is there an easy way to find your last post in a thread?) and read replies. Its true DS hates music, not a big talker, never sings, has never learned a nursery rhyme or anything. He likes making noise, but if he's not making the noise he holds his ears. I can put music on quietly and sneak the volume up but as soon as it starts to irritate him its zero tolerance and he has a meltdown. He particularly hates Mika, but that may be just cause we all love it and try to play it so often, he has just got to hear the first few beats of lollipop and he implodes.
  7. Here is some info, I have an 8yo autistic son who hates hearing music. So that restricts my Mika listening. So today I bought this little samsung mp3 player, its like a big purple bead, so cool, just finished loading it with songs but need to get heaps more.
  8. Well I can understand completely, and wasn't offended. Of course its not nice being excluded but when you finally trust me I will be very relieved that I too share in the protection of the strict entry standards. I am very hard to offend, don't worry I have my head screwed on right.
  9. Okay well I suppose I need to make more of an effort here then Acronyms, let me see... DH - darling (or dearest) husband, but mostly dick head PMSL (oh PMSL - pi$$ myself laughing)) IRL -in real life, Okay well I suppose I just need to make more of an effort here then Oh and DD, and DS are darling son and darling daughter with thier age after, and I don't think I used it but I do all the time, ROFL - roll on the floor laughing.
  10. Anything to try and satisfy my desire to have more Mika in my life
  11. Well I registered will wait and see. Darn it, now I am gonna be late. *closes all windows to avoid temptation*
  12. Oh, I think you can be totally obsessed with Mika without being a huge poster. I started playing the violin when I was about about 10 but stopped after a couple of years, I couldn't really get comfortable with it. I started playing again now that my daughter is in lessons and its just so much easier this time round (I think one prob was that I had a full size one and it was too big for me back then) I like lots of music, but Mika is the only one I just can't get enough of. I need to go again now cause DS16 is going on a camp and I have to help prepare then drop him there. I had to wake DD 2 up from her nap to pick them up from school and now she is cranky. DD 12 is bugging me to get off the computer so she can get on. DS 8 wants me for something and DS 5 is crying cause he can't get his shirt buttons undone (DS 16 is now helping him). I don't like posting anything too personal here, cause even though its in the members section, there are so many members and they really could be anyone So am I allowed to joing the aussie site or not? I suppose I will just register and see what happens - after I sort these kids out of course
  13. and now I need to go and pick the kids up from school
  14. I'm back just did my ironing and my violin practice. I do come here a lot, at least a couple of times a week, but don't know what to post cause the conversations are swirling around and I feel lost. I have 5 kids so I am pretty busy. Kids take over the computer in school holidays and most evenings. I am very obsessed, believe me, I have Mika playing constantly (when my husband lets me) and know all the words to all his songs that are anywhere not just on the cd. Anyone who knows me IRL would be ROFL that I am trying to convince others of my obsession.
  15. Hello hello. I want to get to know some of my fellow aussies. Its so hard cause with limited time I feel lost in the huuuuge threads here. I am in Goulburn NSW, I have no IRL friends who appreciate my Mika obsession and my DH, well I am treading on thin ice there PMSL I can't do MSN style chatting cause it takes too much of my attention from my kids and housework. Is there more of a Aussie only fan club anywhere?
  16. Just thought I would check in (almost wasn't able to drag myself away from looking at Mika pics ) My kids love Lollipop (well all except DS 16) and I love that he has a cool video for it now
  17. Why do I do this to myself, I can't stop looooking at him
  18. I don't have much but I will post anyway I have ... LICM DVD LICM CD A tour poster A home made badge Pretty sad really... I WANT MORE!!!
  19. OMG!!!! She had to turn the card over, what sort of a nit wit cant read MIKA up-side-down. LOL
  20. That is really different, her voice is like one of the instruments. It really is haunting and pretty cool.
  21. I actually said OUCH out loud when I opened that pic. I hope you don't feel like that Mika.
