    IMO Mika + glasses in general is not the ideal pairing... to paraphrase another recent thread Fierce competition with this one BTW those who do not enjoy his collaboration with CL should also remember this from time to time

    Yes, he has a slight accent of what we called a Titi Parisien in the 40s Indeed this version is quite good But for me, Jingle Bells is not Vive Le Vent. I guess I get stuck on the lyrics Live the wind, live the wind, Live the winter wind, Which goes whistling, blowing In the big green Christmas trees, oh! Live the weather, live the weather, Live the winter weather, Snowballs and new year's day and happy new year Grandma!

    Funny to compare this album version of Let it snow by Jamie Cullum with the one made by Mika in 2009 http://www.amazon.fr/gp/product/B006256XTO/ref=dm_dp_trk1 You understand better the entire atmosphere of the Legrand's album and the gap with what Mika is able to do with a song when he works with his own sensitivity Althought I think it would have been hard to do better with Vive le vent

    Actually, I was not expecting much more from Vive le vent but it's not Mika's fault Having said that, I really like when he uses his lower voice like here and his slight Parisian street urchin accent is pretty funny but the musical arrangments cover too much his voice and that's a pity Now waiting for a real new song!

    Thank for posting Bia It sounds very DM Dave's voice is higher than usual and I have hardly recognized it at the first listening but I like Anyway, it's hard to pass after Bono but they got out of it very well

    But you know, I was a huge DM fan many years ago (basically in my 20s) than I gave up and recently my love story with them has started again. So I had 5 albums to discover at the same time :mf_lustslow: :mf_lustslow:

    With his 2 albums, Mika can hardly fight with it :teehee:
