1. Except I would never meet up with you guys, because you would all just make fun of my clothes . . .
2. I'd be content just to hear him sing Rainbow Connection! . . . in fact, now that I've imagined that, I will live the rest of my life sad that I haven't.
3. I'm so in love with this one. I want bolts of that fabric to wallpaper all my walls with!
4. Aaaaaaand . . . . voting is closed! Looks like the Swift fans tried to make a comeback, but it was too little too late. I don't know if people will keep tweeting, and those topsy things will keep updating, but as of this moment, one says 115,890 to 101,391 and the other one says 238,772 to 153,794. Of course, we don't know what the voting was like on the website. I know I voted like an insane person these last few days. I have to admit, it's been fun, but when the website froze and it said voting was over, I was a bit relieved. AND NOW I REST.
5. Thank you! You're right, TSwift's numbers don't appear to be going up anymore. Pssh, quitters.
6. Yeah! I'm pretty sure it wouldn't matter what time zone the tweet was coming from! It should be about six more hours, no matter where you are.
7. In jail again. We've all done really well, it's 109,031 to 94,422, with only about 9 hours left! (I'm tweeting as pyl_the_sequel, by the way)
8. And all I can think of is Phantom of the Paradise! Which is a bit worrying.
9. I've done 382 so far today. You know, sometimes when it tells me I've hit the tweet limit, it still lets me do a bout a dozen retweets. Not sure if that's a glitch or if the limits are different for those. Also, I saw someone tweet that they don't count the tweets that are numbered. That makes no sense to me for two reasons. . . One, it's not fair to say you can vote as many times as you want but then count that as spam. And two, with as many tweets as there must be in all the categories, surely the only way to count them is with something like those Topsy things we've been watching, which counts how many tweets have certain keywords and therefore the rest of the tweet wouldn't even be noticed? But I've stopped using the numbers, just to be safe.
10. You know, I'm not sure about this anymore. I had thought it must be the case because the numbers being reported weren't going up, BUT I realize now that those numbers had to have been the Twitter votes! Someone else said that the votes were only submitted after going through all the categories, but I see no reason to think that . . . there's no "submit" button or anything, just a "vote again" button. I guess I'll keep doing them all, just to be safe, though.
11. YAY! I'm glad my worry was for nothing,then! I'm a worrier, though, it's what I do.
12. Aah, it's driving me nuts to see so many hundreds of votes that don't list all the information. The difference between this (where we're losing) and this (where we're winning) is that the second one are tweets that don't include the name of the song. Which will Disney look at to count the winner? Possibly they'll look at all the possible combinations, but it's a safe bet to include it all! Anyway, I've started voting at the website while I'm in Twitter jail. I still resent having to vote in all the categories, but with only a couple days left, I'm feeling obsessive/compulsive about it now. There are fewer of us, so we're working so much harder than they are!
13. Indeed! Apparently I hadn't hit the daily limit because it let me go again for a while, am now jailed at 2171.
14. I'm sure it said the daily limit was 1000 tweets, but I think I just hit it, at 1782.
15. Damn, TSwift really is ahead now. She wins everything, why can't they $#*&ing back off?! Anyway, I actually started a temporary second Twitter account last night so I could spam vote. I got to 400 before landing in Twitter jail. An interesting experience, I suppose.
16. I've honestly never understood that. He's never seemed like he needed taking care of to me . . . but it might just be that I don't have even a shred of motherly instinct.
17. Yes . . . I did read that, and will share my thoughts in light blue text so people who aren't reading the books can easily skip over it without getting spoiled . . . Arya is one of my favorite characters, so I'm always more interested in her chapters, but I don't like the faceless men, so I don't like where her story has been going. Mainly because they had made her blind, that really bothered me. Anyway, I liked that she got to kill one of the guys on her list, even though it was kind of gross the way she lured him in. I'm not really bothered by the underage sexuality and talk of rape, though I understand why a lot of people are.
18. Yeah, I read the books last summer and loved them! I know everyone's name now, but before reading the books I was like that trailer "wait, who is that? isn't that the same guy?" And I'm super excited for the show now, because I know what's going to happen! Episode twoooooooo! (That's not a spoiler, since you don't know what it is I'm looking forward to!)
19. Only five more days until season four! Who's excited? This "Honest Trailer" is hilarious . . . but spoilery through the first three seasons.
20. According to that Topsy thing, TSwift got more votes yesterday, but Mika is still leading.
21. I wasn't a member here at the time, but I was following him on Twitter. I just remember being amused when I saw the tweets and thinking, "wow, he's so out of it, wish I had some!" I didn't see the death hoax, but I've seen things like that before and never believe anything until I see a reputable news source or two. Flying terrifies me, though, so I admit that I try to not think about how often he flies.
22. I'm assuming this is the "funny but odd" tweets, since that's the only example I remember. They start near the bottom of this page.
