Arya's wolf Nymeria hasn't been mentioned on the show since she ran off, but in the books she's leader of a huge wolf pack that is ruling the Riverlands! The ending with Hodor absolutely broke my heart. I was openly sobbing, for I think the first time with this show!

I'm definitely excited! Jon getting stabbed is where the books left off... so none of us know for sure what's going to happen next. However, if you remember in the third season, we met Thoros of Myr, a red priest, who resurrected Beric Dondarrian after The Hound killed him. So... there are possibilities. I also believe 100% in the L+R=J theory, and something in the trailer has made me think they'll reveal that this season, but I don't want to risk spoiling anything, and I could be wrong.

I watched the movie Melancholia last night, because I'd seen it mentioned in this thread (I ended up really enjoying it, so thanks!). Several scenes in the video appear to be direct deliberate references to the movie, especially the opening sequence (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2kP-vuOy8cU) I thought it would just be similar in tone, but it was pretty specific. One of those shots is of Kirsten Dunst holding her hands up with electricity coming off her fingers! That's no coincidence! I did some reading about the symbolism of the movie, and apparently the main character is named Justine after a character in a Marquis de Sade novel, and that character is ultimately struck by lighting. So that makes sense in the movie (well, kind of ) but makes no sense when being referenced in the video. Other things, like the dead birds falling would probably happen in such a disaster because of the atmosphere being burned away, but not the lightning fingers. I may have thought too much about this. Though I enjoyed the movie, I don't really care for the video. But the only thing I found depressing about it was how little it focused on Mika.

I knew I had some Mika dreams a couple months ago, but I never posted them, so I got out my dream journal to look them up . . . One of them was shockingly inappropriate, and I won't be sharing that one. The other two are ok, though. In one, I went with Mika and Yasmine to see a concert. (yeah, you guys dream about seeing Mika in concert, I dream that we go to see someone else sing ) Anyway, I wasn't familiar with the singer. We were at the front of a balcony area and Mika left to sneak closer to the stage. Yasmine and I talked about some performances Mika had done when he was in school and I was trying to think where I would have been right at the moments those had taken place, which was a fairly dark time in my life. Mika came back and Yasmine told him what we were talking about. I mentioned that it had been a dark time for me, and he seemed to feel bad about bringing up bad memories, so I decided to rewind time and not share that bit with him. The other dream was fun... Mika was having a contest for fans, and somehow it came down to me and one other girl. We, and about a dozen other fans, were at this event to decide the final winner. An elevator door opened and Mika was there wearing that "camubutterfly" suit that nobody loved but me. He reminded me very much of Willy Wonka welcoming the kids to his factory. The other girl went with him first. Then it was my turn, the elevator was dark, with wallpaper similar to his suit. There was a window and I swear I could see landscape rushing by in the dark, as if we were in a train. But nothing much happened, I think he just wanted to chat and welcome us each privately. I returned to the lobby where the other fans were and chatted with them, saying I thought I had failed some sort of test because I'd been quite shy in the elevator. Then, we got a message telling us what the next part of the contest would be. It was an invitation to a party with Mika and we would be expected to hold conversations with him on various "esoteric" topics. The invite specified "esoteric" and gave some specific examples, which I can't remember. I started to panic, because I knew this would be a nightmare and I'd fail, but one of the other fans pointed out that it was a team challenge and that she was my partner and that it would be ok. One of the other girls heard me talking about being nervous and pulled me aside, offering me cough syrup to get drunk on, saying it would help.

In the dream I had last night, I saw some pictures on MFC of a new photoshoot Mika was doing and I recognized where it was so I rushed to get there before he left. In one of the photos he had a big fake mustache, but when I got there it was gone. I got there just before the photographer left, and there was absolutely no one else around. He was sitting on a sofa in the middle of the room and I tried to say hello, but he was preoccupied by playing a game on his phone. I went to leave and mentioned something about the game as I left. I went into a hallway that was separated from the lobby by a solid glass wall. I turned to look back again, and he was right there on the other side of the glass staring at me. He wanted to talk about the game! It involved finding parts of teddy bears scattered around, you put them together and the teddy bears are clues to a bigger puzzle. Apparently he was having trouble finding one. So we talked about it a while, we were face to face and he commented that I was really tall, but I pointed out that the floor of the hallway was several inches higher than that of the lobby.

Sure, share it all you want. I'd love to hear him sing Rains of Castamere, he could use his deep Promiseland voice. I'd be pretty surprised if he was a fan of Game of Thrones, though, considering a few years ago he said he hated Lost because characters were always upset and running away from death. Maybe he likes that now.

I'm guessing the hugely successful one is the one I find unlistenable because of the weird autotune effect on his voice? If that's what's needed for success, why bother? I mean, if that's the sound one wants to go for, fine. I am just glad that there's a huge variety of music out there to choose from. Plenty of stuff you hate, so I can have stuff I like.
