This is from November 2007 -- holding a mask, does that count?

From his Australia visit in 2009 when he was bit by mosquitoes -- does the eyepatch count?

From October 2009 in New York.

Think that might be all I have to contribute, you've gotten most of the mask photos I can recall!

totally they count! i've edited the first post to include our loose definitions of "mask"

i don't recall seeing that last mask before. Maybe i did but don't remember since he's pretty covered up and i used to not care about Mika pics if i couldn't see his face or body in them :teehee:

I'm not the only one then who thought this was about the TV series! I much prefer pictures of Mika!

I remember when The Masked Singer got a UK edition some people thought the Unicorn could have been Mika! 🦄

    😂

:teehee: i knew what i was doing when i named the thread

Thanks for that info! Makes sense it turned out to be Jake Shears since Mika used to get compared to Scissor Sisters quite often

QUOTES: ---In a short piece in Paris Match magazine in August 2015 Nikos said: "On his face I see a little brother, two heads taller than me. A man with multiple talents who becomes someone else when he gets on a stage dressed up in his showman glitter suit. Mika is naturally playful with a touch of genuine courtesy. At the same time a bit of the British gentleman phlegm and an Oriental piercing eye which sees everything, Mika is a star, but when I take pics of him, I see a conquering child with a serious look in his eyes as if one had to climb on top of all peaks in the world because life is too short and that time plays with us."

---On December 22, 2019 Nikos instagrammed a photo of Mika performing that evening at AccorHotels Arena captioned in French with: “From the great, the very great @mikainstagram tonight on stage. Songwriter Mika is also a charismatic showman who fills the space with light and joy. A packed house, and Mika on the wire, reaching out, balancing over the abyss. Sometimes Icarus, sometimes Béjart, the artist raises the body and the voice in a total gift of his person. No more hell, no more Paradise, just a world where everyone is himself because he loves without posture and without blinkers. The energy for sharing, with the hip sway of a @mickjagger and the arena instinct of an @georgemofficial is what it means to be #Pop in 2020... or almost 2020. Proud to have seen him again on stage. Bravo my friend Mika, you are unique. #instanikos #revelationtour.”

So do you always copy and paste the whole thing, and not just the parts you edit?

yeah cuz i'm always tweaking little things and adding tidbits of info. I don't do editing directly in the  MFC thread for several reasons, but the main ones are that i can edit google docs offline, and i have a record of all the changes in case something bad happens

@kreacher If you want to use HTML and just paste it into the Source view (Button "Source" on the top left of the editor), you can use colours with <span style="color:#2ecc71;">text</span> (don't forget the semicolon after the colour number) and for bold it does work with <b>text</b>, but the correct use would be <strong>text</strong>. You can check in the source view how certain things are formatted, if you need more.

But how about what Deb suggested, if you just add the formattings after pasting the text? Would that be a problem for some reason?

    @dcdeb @mellody

Ooh I used to know html but all that left my brain years ago xD

There are over 1300 entries. Formatting after pasting would take 10 million years.

I’ve been messing around, testing, changing my process, and I think i’ve got something that’ll work. It’s gonna take ages at first, but hopefully will be  faster (or at least not slower) for subsequent updates.

  6. ok, so for the Mikapedia thingy i'd always edit it in a google doc then copy and paste it onto MFC. To get it to look how i want i'd use code like for bold text or to make the text green.  But when i tested it the codes no longer work. :(

Is this something you can enable or do i have to totally rethink how i do Mikapedia?

But now there's something else. I'm sure Mika performed Rain at the Radio 1 live lounge, again I don't know exactly when, possibly 10 years ago? It could be less. I would love to see any videos of this or even just a recording!

    seems like this day?

He did WAG and Poker Face for Live Lounge. acoustic Rain might've been on Greg James's show

Interestingly, the Revelation Tour badge set is now back in stock on the website, still $10 and also still saying 4-5 weeks delivery, which is what it said long before countries lock down. I haven't been sent a dispatch email yet, so I'm not expecting anything soon. The store has no statement about the Corona virus either but this link for buying just the album does have a statement (used to be able to access this from the mikasounds website, it is separate from UMG stores)

    https://shop.virginemi.com/mika/delivery/

I got the email this morning saying my order has shipped, UPS says it’ll arrive Monday. Looks like it’s coming from Florida but hopefully yours will ship soon too!

I asked for another update regarding my order and got an email back yesterday, so this may interest some people who also haven't received their order.

The delayed item is indeed the Revelation Tour badge set. I was told that all other items in my order are waiting to be dispatched from them, no other items are being delayed. I have a feeling that the store staff are working from home, took a while to get that email. On the website it says that if an item goes out of stock after you place an order then you may be offered a refund or another item of the same value, I wouldn't worry too much about this seeing as nearly everything is out of stock now (apart from the mug and one t-shirt) and like I said I was told that all my items are waiting for me somewhere... I was not given any idea of a new dispatch time but because the delay is probably due to the Corona virus I'm going to be realistic and say about 5 weeks or so.

If anyone does receive their order with the badge set, feel free to pop a message here.

thank you for updating us! every so often something will remind me of the merch and i say to myself 'oh yeah, i ordered some stuff ages ago, hmm i should probably check into that'
