  1. I've always seen an actor in MIKA In his live performances, videos, TV-interviews, advertising, selfies, everything He's so lively, with so much emotion and charisma, and he's not afraid to show it He's the ultimate artist, blessed with endless talents, and an extraordinary nice and kind personality And this, his first one man TV-show, is a great proof of that! And we, his lucky fans, will never have a dull moment, as long as he's around - full of energy! Oh God, how I love this man... Love, love me
  2. I understand from your reaction, and all the "likes", that the Italian media was pleased with the MIKA show Can I ask: what did they say, in just some few words !? Love, love me
  3. Thank you Eriko! This was a very strong moment, during the fab. show - after an even stronger speech, ahead of the song I never thought it was possible for a person to bring tears in my eyes, while talking in a language I don't understand - but it really happened yesterday, because of MIKAs eyes and face expression My eyes got filled with tears while listening to him - and beautiful MIKA got blurry... Love, love me
  4. Such a cute golden man, in these golden colors... Love, love me
  5. It might be fans of Billy Idol and Elton John, who think their songs are "holy" - and forbidden to cover Or maybe they hate MIKA's falsetto voice, which he often uses - also in these songs, I don't know I'm happy I'm not on tw or fb, and therefore avoid to read such things It's better to live in my own, happy MIKA-world ... Love, love me
  6. Yes, I have no words ... Thank you so much Eriko, for catching these lovely moments from the show!! Love, love me
  7. I got this e-mail from Mikasounds yesterday as well, and sent my order right away - sooo happy to have GW and Stardust as a bonus! Can't wait to see the full show - it will be "my private MIKA party! Love, love me
  8. I found time for watching this peacefully today, with nobody around, and yes, I'm still in shock I've never doubted that MIKA would deliver something amazing in his first one-man- tv-show, but this was really high above my expectations! Yes, as you say, "a silly grin on my face" - that's how I feel I look like myself now And obs! I forgot to mention how much I loved that he involved his dogs in the progr. The start in the car - aaww sooo sweet, and also the end - with his arms around his "kids" in the sofa, so cute! Those who don't like/love MIKA is not human - imo - and I'm really happy to hear about such a huge amount of viewers!! And the taxitour through the streets of Rome, omg - it shouldn't be possible As Cathrine says: there's NOTHING this man can't do!! Now I have to get back to real life, and consentrate om my own business, ... Love, love me
  9. I've watched the whole first show, two and a half hour - and omg - "my golden MIKA" - you really make me speechless with your one man show - it was wonderful !! I enjoyed it to bits, even without understanding much of the language It was so touching when he showed up in the music class, and invited the young musicians to come to his show - omg - those happy and surprised faces! And Sting as a studio guest !?! Never in my life did I expect MIKA to sit and make an interview with Sting, in two languages - he's just so professional And the speech before "Hurt" I understood pretty well, without knowing the words he said And so much music included - I'm extremely happy now, and sooo proud of our golden MIKA!!! Love, love me
  10. Funny dogname - I'm often called Maggie myself, abroad, which is easier to use than my real name MIKA also told the story behind this song I have Maggie May on vinyl - one of my oldies from early 70ies MIKA's a great radiohost, I love his music programs - and I don't doubt that he's also doing well with his own TV show You're really lucky, who could be present at the recording of the show, together with Karin - it will of course be special to watch it, for both of you - congratz! Love, love me
  11. I hope there will be more programs in this serie - love it! Midnight here - bye for now- goodnight everybody :-) Love, love me
  12. "Piano man" - MIKA's best cover in these radio programs - Imo :-) Aaww - Maggie May - I expected this song by Rod - said it to my hubby this afternoon... Love, love me
  13. Yes, indeed - and the last photos you posted, from last week, really could be mine The only diff. is that the ground here's now covered by a thin blanket of snow... Love, love me
  14. Yes, and by the thought of all the beautiful young men and women, looking very much like MIKA, being killed in the horrible war in Syria, this pic is just too much... Love, love me
  15. Thanks for all these lovely pics! It's a pleasure to watch! I alwasy make a lot of pics myself, especially when walking outside - so it's very funny to see yours... Love, love me
  16. I agree - this pic is not good to look at, at all - imo... Love, love me
  17. Me too! And my internet radio is tuned in, and ready for the BBC Radio2 tonight I can hardly wait for this new MIKA musichour... Love, love me
  18. Thanks a million Eriko!! I really enjoyed watching this full, fab.MIKA show from Paris!! But now I look even more forward to get the DVD/ Blu-ray, with also "Last Party" and "Good wife" on the setlist! Love, love me
  19. Thanks a million - you're a hero Lunari! I'll soon give you a big "thank you hug" in Firenze! Love, love me
  20. OMG - this could be MIKA - really funny !! If we remove the lady things around him, hehe... Love, love me
  21. I totally agree - and it's also quite funny that you say so I've heard SS live twice - at the Quart festival both times. The first time in 2004, I thought that singer Jake sounded very much like the Bee Gees. The 2nd time, after I had got to know MIKA, I couldn't stop thinking about him, when Jake performed their new big hit "I don't feel like dancing" It reminded me sooo much about my "new music-love"... I hope MIKA will cover this supercatchy song one day... Love, love me
  22. Yes, that's how music works! When it comes to MIKA's covers in the BBC Radio2 studio, I understand that he chooses songs that only need a piano, and not a full band, just because Elton John's piano is there, waiting for his clever fingers... Love, love me
  23. MIKA's cover songs are mostly very beautiful, imo, also the sad ballads, which he seems to like and use respectfully But in a way, I have to agree with you. Now I would be very pleased if he did a cover version of a happy and funny song, like for example "Lola" - by the Kinks, which has a genius lyric: "Well I'm not dumb but I can't understand, why she walk like a woman and talk like a man" - and - "Girls will be boys and boys will be girls, it's a mixed up muddled up shook up world, except for Lola" It's an iconic song, written back in 1970 - and in this period, it was a controversial subject matter : ""Well, I'm not the world's most physical guy, when she squeezed me tight she nearly broke my spine"... I really would LOVE to hear MIKA's version of this song, about a possible transvestite, whom the songwriter Ray Davies met in a club in Soho ... MIKA called the song brilliant, when he played it on Tuesday, and I couldn't agree more... Love, love me
