  1. Gracie Gabry! Lucky ladies, who's job is to dress MIKA the best way Love, love me
  2. Gracie! And Chris - you make me curious about VV - even I don't follow The Voice Love, love me
  3. Yes, exactly - MIKA has got it all, in a natural way You describe it very well, thank you! Love, love me
  4. Thanks again! I think this's my new fav. photo - of this wise, nice, kind, talented, handsome and utterly beautiful man... Love, love me
  5. I agree with you Alba - this pic "lift me to a pink cloud" as well There are so many persons, but my eyes only catch one, and honestly I don't think it's because I'm his fan MIKA's so extremely handsome - he looks so interesting and nice, and just takes so much space in the crowd, without doing anything else than being present! A funny thing with this pic: the arm behind his head probably makes a photo - but it looks like it touches his hair Thank you so much dear Eriko, for sharing so much beauty to look at! Love, love me
  6. Thanks a million to Eriko, Unicorn and Krysady!! You're all my heroes today!! What a MIKA gift - on our National Day!! Love, love me
  7. Thank you!!! I can't help it - I love to see MIKA being invited, and joining, all those VIP's ! And like Gabry, I think it would be very nice if he wrote a song for the Olympics in 2024... Love, love me
  8. Indeed, I have to smile, while watching these new, lovely pics of our MIKA! Thanks a lot Eriko, for finding and sharing! It made my day... Love, love me
  9. Thanks! MIKA with all the girls - very much like these days... Love, love me
  10. I agree with you Panduck - with most of what you write here! You ask pretty much the same questions, and draw the same conclusions, as I've done over the years We've had both long and hot discussions about MIKA here on the MFC People have, of course, mixed and diff. opinions about what happened to his carriere, and the way he has chosen. But one important thing we have common - we all love him, and his music, very much - and always look forward to his next album with big excitement... Love, love me
  11. OMG - thanks Anne - this's such a funny vid!! I stood right in front of MIKA at Sentrum Scene, when this happened, and I'll thank Nina forever, for taping and sharing this funny moment! You're lucky Panduck, if you live close to Gardermoen - cause I'm sure we have to travel abroad - to see MIKA live in new concerts! I hope, and think, that we'll soon meet... Meanwhile, enjoy everything you can find here at the MFC Love, love me
  12. Yes, I agree MIKA looks relaxed and "arrogant" here, hehe I'm curious what they taped ... Love, love me
  13. Thank you sooo much for your amazing introduction Panduck!! I'm very happy today, the 7th May ( no. 7 is very often a part of my special MIKA happenings! ) - because you and your wife Swandog found MIKA and his music, and told us about it, already one week ago !! I didn't know it until today though... I'm 65 y.o. and luckily I found him already at 9.3.2007 It has been 10 fab.years - but I can assure you I know too well the anger and frustration I've felt so many times, when one masterpiece after another has been released, and ignored in Norway, over the years. His first alb. LICM was a huge hit, also here, and "Grace Kelly" became the most played song at Radio P4 in 2007. Then the 2nd alb. TBWKTM came, but was quickly "forgotten". After that, not one word about him, or his fab. new albums! It's really hard to experience that he's, as you write, "the most underrated musical genious of our time" - at least in our country. But GK & Relax are still played on the radio stations. I'm sure you'll enjoy your membership at the MFC - and I hope to meet you both at a MIKA concert asap He's wonderful on records, but live he's out of this world - simply the best!! You really have something good to look forward to, and I do hope you don't need to wait for so long, to experience our golden MIKA... Love, love me
  14. How nice to finally see a new Norwegian fan here at the MFC!! Welcome to us Panduck! I think you've chosen the right place, for everything re. MIKA! The three songs you point out are all in my Top 10 fav.list Love, love me
  15. Thank you sooo much!! I don't know this song Ruby, but you look and sound wonderful There are SO many music talents here on the MFC, you're really blessed - and I feel so proud of you all I really wish you could gather together some day, and give MIKA a private concert!! I'm sure he would love to see what his fans are able to do, when it comes to singing and playing... Keep up your good work!!... Love, love me
  16. I totally agree - it's a crime, nothing else We know that only parts of what's made for the film industry is being used, but this recording, going to waste, I feel was an unnecessary stealing of MIKAs valuable time But I was very happy last night, to hear MIKA calling The Monkees "superclever" - which is something I've always ment and said. It was the first popgroup ever I was a real fan of, at the age of 15 y.o. I even got my penpal from the U.S. to be able to get stuff and follow these four guys, in the best way I could at that time. Sadly the cute singer Davy Jones passed away some few years ago. But their recordings will live forever. That's why we also should have MIKAs version of "Cuddly Toy" available... Love, love me
  17. Thank you Chris I like his version - and look forward to another hour with MIKA behind the mic, in the radiostudio tomorrow night ... Love, love me
  18. Thank you!! I don't think I have seen this personal and funny interview earlier! So there we get all his strange habits for flights, haha - incl. him being emotional, and crying, while watching films Like Dreams, I'll def. think about MIKA the next time I fly ( hopefully the errand will be to see our funny, cute and good guy giving a new show somewhere ) And now we'll have to wait for his "masterful book" ! Probably he demands too much from himself, to dare to release it, that's my thought after his answer here about writers... Love, love me
  19. I'm so happy that BBC Radio2 gives MIKA this opportunity to play his fav.music, and talk about the artists, and the stories behind the music! He's really good, and it's a pure pleasure to listen to him, even I, of course not, don't jump of joy by every single song he plays I learn something new by every episode, about the artists he presents, and about himself. As far as I remember, I haven't heard earlier that MIKA gets easily touched to tears, by watching movies and listening to music - in planes! As we know, he travels a lot by planes And his cover of "Both sides now" is extremely beautiful, imo I look forward to next Tuesday, when we surely will get interesting details of another fav of his, Harry Nilsson ( who had Swedish grandparents ) I suppose me, you and other oldies here at MFC might have a special joy for these radioprograms, as a big part of the music MIKA plays, are the hits, and more unknown songs, from our youth, the glorious pop-periode of the 70ies ... Love, love me
  20. Thanks a LOT for sharing this interesting interview Zel It's a nice pre-start for MIKA radioshow tomorrow Btw, I can't remember last time I saw an artist smoking that much, while being interviewed on TV So MIKA, Joni really IS real, and honest - and doesn't pretend to be anything else than herself... Love, love me
  21. Thanks a LOT for this lovely cover version of "Both sides now" Cathrine! MIKA loves Joni Mitchell ( "I'm gonna rip a piece of her dress, to see if she's real" ) and I'm sure he has sung her songs a lot, if not officially. This version is utterly beautiful - and a new proof of what he's able to deliver, by a piano and with his lower voice - and with "a little help from his friends" ( the guitar-players ) I really look forward to a new hour/show at BBC Radio2 tomorrow night, and expect his focus on Joni to be iconic... Love, love me
  22. Of course! MIKA will be my Tuesday evening entertainment Enjoy - everyone listening... Love, love me
  23. I'm sure he will, one way or another - maybe with a new song, like he did after the terrible attacks at the underground stations in 2005, which let to "Relax". It must be so scary to have this terror right "outside your door" ! Me and my husband walked across this Westminster Bridge, after visiting London Eye, during our trip to see MIKA in Hyde Park, June 2015. The world has become totally mad... Love, love me
  24. Indeed, me too! These programs, with old and new music, and MIKA behind the mic in the radiostudio, I really love! Love, love me
