As I posted in the thread about the twitter/facebook updates etc., I could buy it on the Dutch iTunes as well! I think that you can buy it as long as you don't live in the UK. Maybe people from other countries can confirm if you can buy it? I had to search for it, it didn't show up when I searched for 'Mika' but it was the first song that showed up when I searched for 'Talk About You'. So glad to have a high quality version, it sounds really good! Nice and loud

Maybe it's only the UK where you can't buy it, and if I'm correct the UK has a different policy concerning single song releases. I've heard of several times when a song was available world wide - except for the UK. Mika can't do anything about that.

I agree with everything! I think this is by far not the best Mika song (even though I do like it as a happy spring/summer song), but it's a potentially very good first single. You should listen to Taylor Swift's full album, Shake It Off is such a simple, repetitive song compared to the rest of the album, but it does SO WELL as a single. Of course, it's played a lot so that helps with people having it stuck in their heads, but I think that if people wouldn't have it stuck in their heads, it wouldn't be played a lot. I think it's a mutually reinforcing process (is that how you say it?).

Me neither! And I'm quite sure I signed up. Anyway, I see that they meant the single premiere and not the release, but it's not strange that we (or at least I) thought it meant release. Especially since Mika's facebook only said: "Get ready - Mika’s new single is coming this Wednesday!"

I'm quite sure he says "the jungle", or at least "the ...", it's more like a "th" sound and not an "L" (buuut I could be wrong of course, hopefully he'll have a lyric video up soon on youtube, and not long after that the music video )

Want het is natuurlijk top als de single hier ook veel gedraaid wordt op de radio! Op Radio 2 en Radio 10 hoor ik bijvoorbeeld nog veel Grace Kelly en Relax. Ze houden dus wel van Mika. Ik weet natuurlijk niet of Mika zelf veel promo gepland heeft, maar ik verwacht eigenlijk niet dat Nederland hoog op zijn lijstje staat (de UK lijkt me een betere plek om te beginnen).

Oh, I understand! No it wouldn't get international success. I agree. It would get success in France, that's all. Maybe the French parts of Belgium and Canada. But this was a response to the question "do you think this will be his last album" so in that case it's optimistic, I think. It's all perspective anyway In my eyes, a French album is better than none at all! But what really matters right now is that the fourth album is on its way! I think you don't understand what I meant to say? I mean that I don't think this will be his last album! Even if he stops making the kind of music he is making right now (English pop music) (and I don't think he is going to stop doing that! but if), I think he would start making different music, like French chansons. But I don't think at all that he would stop making music after this album.

This scared me Thought he announced the album release date while I was sleeping.. I'm not wondering if it will be his last at all, I don't expect that.. I think that there'll be a better chance that he is going to release a full French chanson album next, than no album ever again.
