    I've just had a thought ! What if "By the Time" is what happens after "Happy Ending" ???

      Just listened to them back to back, and I definitely see a connection. 'By the Time' is kind of like the sob story from both points of view, after realizing the fact that there would not be a happy ending to their story, in 'Happy Ending'. Hmmmmm, tricky Mika! He has said that TBWKTM is a follow-up story to LICM... ;)
