  1. Adam posted a story on Wednesday saying they had a 22 hours trip (by ferry), I guess they arrived in Ancona.
  2. Translation: All opening and interval acts of the three shows 10th May - Frist semifinal Opening act The opening act of the First Semi-Final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 will start from a workshop of inventors, as a tribute to Italian genius and universal genius. There will be a reference to Geppetto, Pinocchio's father, who brought a piece of wood to life, and to Leonardo da Vinci, a multifaceted artist and inventor, who suggested the construction of flying machines as early as the Renaissance. Interval act - The dance of beauty and Diodato The guests of the First Semifinal will be Dardust and Diodato. Dardust, together with Benny Benassi, Sophie and the Giants and Sylvia Catasta will guide us on a journey through Italian dance music, from the 70s to today, transforming the PalaOlimpico into a big club. Then Diodato will perform his song 'Fai rumore', with which he won the 70th Sanremo Festival and was supposed to represent Italy at Eurovision 2020, cancelled due to Covid-19. "Fai rumore" became one of 2020 spring anthems; in May 2020, during Europe Shine a Light, Diodato performed the song in a completely empty Arena di Verona. 12th May - Second semifinal Opening act - The Italian Way The second semifinal will open with Alessandro Cattelan, who will introduce us to the art of getting by, a universal know-how that our compatriots have developed in a unique and special way. The Italian Way will be presented to the spectators through a journey that will end on the PalaOlimpico stage with a choreography that will surprise everyone. Interval act - The Italian gestures, Laura Pausini and Mika, Il Volo The Italian gestures will be a lesson to the European audience of the Italian language through a tutorial inspired by some popular video games. The inspiration for the performance comes the Italian artist, designer and inventor Bruno Munari who published in 1958, exactly in Turin, his "Supplemento al dizionario italiano", a volume showing the many ways Italians use to express themselves through our gestures. Laura Pausini and Mika will perform together in a prestigious duet. The world of Laura Pausini and the world of Mika will join on the stage of the PalaOlimpico like two planets orbiting together in a new harmony. Then Il Volo will perform "Grande amore", thanks to which they won the 2015 Sanremo Festival and got the second place at the Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna. 14th May - Grand Final Opening act - The Sound of Peace, Laura Pausini, Alessandro Cattelan, Mika The opening act of the Grand Final, entitled The Sound of Peace, will showcase the power of music to evoke peace, the musicians Rockin' 1000, first in the streets of Turin and then on stage at the Pala Olimpico, will transform their bodies into a giant sounding board to perform John Lennon and Yoko Ono's hymn to peace 'Imagine'. Finally, on stage, Laura Pausini, Alessandro Cattelan and Mika will ideally join the European and Australian audience in a prayer for peace. Interval act - Laura Pausini, Maneskin, Mika, Gigliola Cinquetti Laura Pausini will present a journey through music in a great show that will start from her debut at the Sanremo Festival to her latest single "Scatola", singing in five languages. The performance will be enhanced by the full potential of the majestic PalaOlimpico stage. Laura will be surrounded by her band and choristers, led by Paolo Carta, and by dancers and performers directed by the choreographer Laccio. One of the traditions of the Eurovision Song Contest is that the champions are among the stars of the next edition. Måneskin will confirm this tradition by performing 'Zitti e buoni' on stage. Mika will do a very special performance, taking the audience on a journey that will thrill viewers both at home and in the Arena. Mika's worldwide hits will be the focus of the performance, along with a world premiere of his new single. The performance will be full of surprises. Gigliola Cinquetti, in 1964, helped Italy win its first Eurovision Song Contest with 'Non ho l'età'. In 1974, she returned to the Eurovision Song Contest in Brighton, with the song 'Sì', finishing in second place behind ABBA. In 1991 she conducted the Eurovision Song Contest together with Toto Cutugno. In Turin he will once again present his first hit to the Eurovision audience.
  3. "The opening of the semi-finals and final of #Eurovision2022. A performance of drones and 40 dancers, Alessandro Cattelan's sketch about Italian stereotypes and a Laura Pausini medley in 5 different languages. Mika will launch his new single." "During the [ESC] final Mika will do a medley of his own songs and will take the opportunity to launch his new single worldwide. His will be a performance within a performance." (Let me know if you want me to translate the whole text in the picture)
  4. IMG_7252.MP4 I did a mashup of 2007 and 2022 GK performances at Coachella and twitter blocked it, so I’m posting it here as well! Hope you like it
  5. Sorry for the late reply, I don't know why I didn't see the notification... Anyway, you just have to register and create your own team (I think inscription will open this week). Then all the points will be awarded by the creators of the game after each night, so you only have to check on the website how you are ranked/how many points you got the next morning.
  6. Just to let you know that Spanish and German are now available of you're interested!
  7. Hi everyone! Since many MFC members are probably going to watch Eurovision this year, I’d like to introduce you to a ESC-related game that a group of Italian Sanremo fans have created and that had a huuuuge success during the last Sanremo festival. Apparently it started as a game between friends, but then many many people joined the game and they actually got sponsored by Sky and other important names. And so they decided to do it for Eurovision as well! It’s called FantaEurovision (FantaSanremo was the Sanremo version) and it’s like Fantasy football, but it’s completely free and open to everyone! You just need to register on their website and create a team of 5 ESC competing artists and choose a captain. Then, during ESC nights, you’ll receive points based on what your team’s artists do or say on stage. The competition is among all registered users but you can also create smaller competitions between friends - maybe we could create a MFC competition? Here’s their website https://fantaeurovision.com/eng/ and here’s the game rules in Italian, English, French (I actually did the French translation 🤪) and they’ll be soon available in Spanish and German as well : https://fantaeurovision.com/eng/rulebook I suggest you to read them, its really fun, you’ll see!
  8. If someone needs it, I posted the French translation on twitter!
  9. if I understood it right, you can also watch it live on their Youtube channel! This way you won't hear television comments and translations in different languages, but the real audio from Turin, so Mika's, Laura's and Alessandro's voices
  10. Spoiler alert from min. 27/28 https://www.rainews.it/notiziari/tg1/video/2022/02/Tg1-ore-0800-del-02022022-f5c1c4fb-16d4-4b4c-9bec-e59d866c355b.html This morning at 8am a Rai 1 journalist said what he shouldn't have said, he actually spoiled that Mika will be one of tonight's guests and that he will conduct Eurovision. He immediately realised he did a mistake and in fact the rest of the sentence doesn't make any sense Literal translation: "And Mika who's going to present... euro... vision song contest... which is what we're seeing here... with our guests... with our... well from Sanremo they'll be famous worldwide... so yeah, let's wait for tonight..."
  11. In previous years there wasn’t this kind of announcements since Italy wasn’t the Eurovision host, but anyway they don’t want to reveal anything yet. I was following the press conference and the only thing they said is that we’re going to know more about Eurovision in the next few hours. Maybe they’re going to talk about it when Laura is on stage (she’s officially invited to sing her new song as well) and maybe she’ll be on stage around at 10:30pm, but idk my predictions could be wrong 🤷🏻‍♀️
  12. New French festival in Perpignan on 20th July! https://live-campo.com/project/mika-20-juillet-2022/ https://www.instagram.com/p/CZeLYLEDTTn/?utm_source=ig_web_button_share_sheet
  13. I’ve also seen these links but if you click on ticketmaster, which is the most reliable one, it says “this event cannot be found”… but who knows?
  14. Mika was telling his story. He's talking about that time he knew he would have performed in front of 4 thousand people and then when he arrived at the venue, he discovered some upgrades were done due to high demand and he had to perform in front of 14 thousand people (don't remember the correct numbers, but that's the idea). He also says he was worried because he had nothing on stage, but that finally thanks to that situation he learnt a whole knew part of this job (how to entertain people with nothing on stage).
  15. Can you all see your tickets somewhere (email, account on their website)? They only sent me an email with the payment details, but I don't see my tickets...
  16. Mika's talents talking about their favorite Mika songs! Question: "Is there a Mika song that you like the most and that you'd like to sing?" Fellow: "Well, fanboy moment! There are a lot... I even know Mika's demos, those songs on YouTube that have like two views and weren't supposed to be released... I'd really love to sing with Mika if there will be a chance. So, songs like "Touches you", then there's Grace Kelly of course that we're not going to sing because it's impossible to sing, LoveToday, Lollipop... I'd say all of them" Nika: "As far as I'm concerned I've been listening to Relax all my life, and I really love it - even if it's a cliché, this song is the best song, it makes you feel good, I really like it" RPReplay_Final1636618658.mov

  18. Unfortunately I can't come to the Saturday gathering anymore... Can I sell my place/be refunded? Does anyone want to buy it to have drink tickets?
  19. @Sofia Carlijust sent the money for me and her! ☺️
  20. Same for me! A huge huge bouquet would look amazing!
  21. Soo here I am a week after the concert. I’m not used in doing gig reports as I’m not that good in putting into words what I feel and experience during a Mika concert but, now, all your reports are so real and well written that while reading them I was brought back to the exact moment we were there and felt inspired to write something. First of all, I have to say that I was lucky enough to win tickets with Ticket Fairy here on MFC and it’ll seem obvious, but even a week after I still feel honored and privileged to have had the possibility to be there first row after these two years of nothing. It was like coming back to two years ago but at the same there was something special in the air, our (or at least my) first concert after what we’ve been living. I tried several times to imagine how it’d felt and how it was having Mika right in front of me again, but actually I couldn’t anymore (blame on the pandemic). I’m so glad to have refreshed my mind and I really feel regenerated. I won’t recap each song as you’ve already seen plenty of videos and I completely share @camille*’s words, 100%. The atmosphere was amazing, it felt so good to be back in a venue, to see some friends after years (this is always one of the highlights at Mika’s events!), to feel that adrenaline again and to be amazed again and again seeing Mika coming back on stage. And he definitely was so happy to be back. I guess my best memory of the concert was exactly that: the happiness in his eyes and the way he looked at the whole audience and at us front row. He really searched our eyes while singing. And smiled. When he looks at you, he literally stares at you, and sings more lines without taking his look away and it feels like he’s singing just for you. It happened more than once that night, and it wasn’t the first time, but I did feel like those looks said more than hundred words in that specific context. I’ll forever keep those moments impressed in my head. Cherry on the top of this exquisite cake, Mika liked and retweeted my pics right after the concert, while we were hanging out all together. It couldn’t get any better. Now, I’m really looking forward to the dreamy weekend that we’ll be living in a month.
  22. Here in Paris I've seen plenty of covid test tents on the sidewalks (in front of big stores/inside malls etc, actually where you have to present a certificate in order to enter)! I can't tell you how it works exactly (reservation, costs, if it's open to everyone, etc.) nor where they are situated, BUT I've just found this link, it seems you can find all spots and specific informations here: https://www.sante.fr/cf/centres-depistage-covid/departement-75-paris.html
  23. The only link i found is the following, but you can see it only if you pay 🤷🏻‍♀️ https://www.nowtv.it/watch/home/asset/loading-x-factor-2021/R_115536_HD?awc=9535_1618672160_7fb4a9a68253fd93b9f8bd2331440875
  24. Tonight at 9pm CET on Sky Uno, or already On Demand: "The 4 judges and new host Ludovico Tersigni will tell their stories through some personal questions and test themselves with a funny general knowledge quiz” It's only 15 min but it's funny! Is anyone able to download Sky's content? If yes, the @Subtitling Team would be happy to translate and subtitle it!!
