:emot-sad:

Is that due to Google translate, or do they really write that Luxembourg is a country in Germany?! :lmfao:

    t4p.

I think the right translation is "a small country located to the east (?) of Germany" (em um hotel de Luxemburgo, um pequeno país localizado ao leste da Alemanha) but it still doesn't make sense but I found "leste" really means east in Portuguese... :dunno:

Good morning, after the last measures approved by the Xunta de Galicia regarding public show restrictions (http://bit.ly/XuntaCOVID19), from Ataquilla we are working with organizers and venues to clarify doubts and inform you about possible postponements and concert cancellations in the nearest dates. We ask for your patience. As a general rule, the action protocol will be as follows 👇

This for the concerts of the next weeks. I hope that by the end of July the thing has calmed down.

Some people say the warm weather will help and it won't be a problem anymore by summer, some people say it can last months or even a year what I've heard... It's so messed up that I don't know what to think anymore. I just hope it gets better soon...

Well, I think / hope very much that until the end of June Corona won't be a topic anymore.

Me too, but only a few weeks ago I didn't expect it will affect Europe as much... I couldn't imagine that travelling to Italy will become risky. So now I'm a bit more careful with my thoughts about it because I've been naive at the beginning, I was really too optimistic.

Ist eine Veranstaltung abgesagt oder verschoben worden, entscheidet der Veranstalter über eine Rückerstattung beziehungsweise über die Beibehaltung der Gültigkeit der Tickets.

I've heard that for some concerts that have been postponed in Zürich you don't get the money back even if you want to... You have to wait for the rescheduling. It's such a mess right now, I really hope the situation will be different in 3 months but I'm afraid of making some travel plans now because you don't know what can happen.

If any of you knows any suitable places in Verona, I'd think for ca. 50-100 people? please let me know.

I tried to ask a girl I know who lives in Verona with her Italian boyfriend, she didn't know right away but promised to ask him as he is directly from Verona and knows the city pretty well... Today she answered me that unfortunately as the city center is all very historic, there aren't many suitable places near the center and only send me a site with places you can rent for meetings: https://www.meetingecongressi.com/it/struttura/verona/245/palazzo_verita_-_poeta.htm?fbclid=IwAR2KRbhBKKdW7kID-0FEnjn4wNnNVRUxq1iabfr4SmFSV31I64rSu56ut-A So I guess that's not really helpful as those places seem to be quite expensive. :teehee: But she said that the more ordinary places are far away from the center. I don't know if that's an option.

@giraffeandy I ordered my copy from Amazon UK, £12, they don't charge until dispatch.

There's also these 2 websites, the first one for definite does international shipping coming from the UK but I'm not too sure about the second one:

    https://www.fiveriserecords.co.uk/product/christine-and-the-queens-la-vita-nuova/

    https://www.normanrecords.com/records/180685-christine-and-the-queens-la-vita-nuova

Oh, I see, the physical copies will be released in April... I think I'll buy a CD later when it's available.

Already pre-ordered my copy. I wonder if Mika's EP project will be similar to what Chris has done 🤔.

Where did you get a copy? I thought it's only digital...

And when I saw the music video I was also thinking of Mika's EP project and if he is doing something similar.

Unfortunately, I can relate to your stories too. I was bullied at school especially at the age of 9 to 11, then I changed the school to a grammar school and it got a little bit better, I mean I wasn't popular at all and some people still made fun of me but on the previous school it was even worse... I had one best friend who sometimes didn't want to hang up with me because as @TinyLove_CJ said, it made her less cool. Luckily, on the grammar school I got a best friend who was (and still is) very loyal so that made things a lot easier. I didn't know what was wrong with me back then, I guess I was rather shy so I was an easy target. I kept thinking for years that it's my fault that I can't get along with people. It took me a long time to get over it and I'm still dealing with some consequences. But leaving school and start studying helped a lot, the people are much better at the university. After years I feel confident again. But I still have trust issues when meeting new people and I need a lot of time to become friends with someone. I really appreciate how often Mika speaks about being bullied. I know it's something you don't want to speak about, you don't want to remember or even think about it but is very helpful when you see a grown-up man sharing his story. Of course also many of his songs are thematizing this struggle. Especially the song Hurts helped me a lot to leave that period behind me, it came at the right time when my life was changing for better and I needed this song to deal with the past and move on.

:lmao: I learned it at school for one year and I can only understand the main things, but as I know French I think I can guess some word's meanings. :naughty: So I hope it'll be enough. :teehee:

I was so excited about the Spanish thing until I remembered I can’t speak Spanish lmao. So I’ll have to wait ages for some lovely person to subtitle it 😂

Maybe we can make a "Practicing Spanish for Mika's next project" thread on MFC where we would learn Spanish together... :lmfao:

  11. I found the longer radio interview with the male moderator really interesting, the other shorter one with the female moderator was a bit in a hurry, I had the feeling Mika is interviewing himself and the woman was just reacting with "Yes/Yeah!/Right"... :teehee: She doesn't seem to be involved in to the conversation as much.

But the project with different EPs sounds great. I won't comment on the book yet...

I don't know about Germany, but on the third night in Utrecht he said that people on bikes were constantly yelling at him when he was distracted and wasn't paying attention to them. 🚲🚲🚲

I know that feeling from Leipzig, I felt like a second-class person without a bike there... So maybe he made the same experience in Germany too? :naughty:
