  1. Tbh, I doubt the collab has anything to do with the third season of Elite but they just announced that the new season is going to be released on 13th March. So we will know for sure next month but I still think the collab is unrelated to that. I thought maybe it could be a song for Danna Paola's album but she apparently just released an reissue of her latest album so who knows what's this collab about... :dunno:

I'm still under PMD after 18 days.. is it worrying?? 😂😂😂

Well I think this fact gives me the strenght to stay high for everything that happens to me everyday in my life.. I really can't let a simple singer drive my emotions that way. It is not possible, I really can't. 😂😂😂😂😂

I realized that Mika has control over my life whether I like it or not. Everytime I'm thinking "ok, enough of Mika for today", I go out and hear a Mika song in a shop or I turn on the radio and a Mika song is playing... :lmfao: It's just inevitable!

PMD is hitting me hard, but I don't mind it, because it means I had an amazing time!

I had the same thought recently! I was sad about missing the last show when I saw all these nostalgic posts on social media but at the same time, I felt that being sad about it is a good sign because it means that I would feel even worse if I wouldn't travel to any of the shows so it was all worth it!

I just wanted to say about this post -- and posts like this one, talking about Mika's appearances/gigs, which come from random (that is, non-Mika Official) sources.

I know I sound like a killjoy, but we can't consider any of these dates officially confirmed until we hear from Mika or his team directly. That's why you won't see MFC retweeting or reposting this sort of unconfirmed or unofficial information. I mean, I'm fairly sure this Disneyland Paris thing will happen. I don't think Disney would publish it if they weren't sure. But I've asked Mika's team about it, and until we hear from Mika or his team that it's confirmed, I have to caution you all about getting too excited. There are also several other dates floating around on the internet -- a few festivals in particular --  that we haven't had official confirmation for yet. I don't know if the promoters have jumped the gun and announced things too soon, or if there are still some questions over the contracts, or what... but I just feel I need to warn you that unless Mika or his team have officially announced it, proceed with caution as far as making expensive travel plans that you might lose money on if the shows don't actually happen. I know you think, "Oh, if I can buy tickets for it, it must be OK." But they were selling tickets for the China shows, which Mika never announced himself, and are now obviously not happening.

Anyhow, maybe it's just the mom in me, but I wanted to warn you to be a little cautious and wait for an official announcement if your excitement will allow you! We love you guys and don't want to see you lose money or vacation time needlessly!

I get it and totally agree with you but I just wanted to point out that unfortunately, Mika/his team is not always the best in announcing and promoting things... :teehee: I was quite confused some days ago when I realized that the tickets for his summer concerts in Italy were already available even though he didn't post anything on social media until the tickets already went on sale... Which is quite late if you still want to get good places. So I get it that sometimes, it's difficult to wait if you want to buy the tickets ASAP.

  5. I have to say I haven't posted anything in this thread yet because in fact, I don't suffer from a Post Mika Depression after a gig. Actually the exact opposite, I have a Post Mika Mania. I knew that from gigs I experienced before Mika, I always keep the positive energy with me for a while but it never lasted as long and never was so strong like with him. I really feel happy, everything is brighter, I even smile more and I'm still in a good mood. It's like getting endorphins or being high, Mika just makes my life better (of course I'm not saying that drugs will make someone's life better, just for the record! :wags_finger:).

However, that doesn't mean that sometimes I don't feel sad about missing all these fantastic gigs I can't go to. Like every "addict", right after getting my dose, I'm looking for the next one. When I know I'll get the next shot, it makes it a bit easier but still, I really feel every word @Dominika posted here a while ago:

It past so mady days after Barcelona and I can only say I'M JEALOUS I'M JEALOUS OF EVERYONE who can attend a couple of Mika gigs :crybaby: Besides how are you doing this with your jobs and financials!?

I miss Mika, miss the the excitement of waiting, I even miss the feeling of being tired after travel and waiting. Every minute is worth it!

Wish he performs somewhere closer where I live to not to travel sometimes few days but just to get the train and be there :emot-sad:

:yeah: I know that nobody can attend every gig of the tour. And I feel so grateful I could see him twice. There are so many fans who haven't been able to go to a gig at all. But like every addict, I wish for more. And I also wish it would be easier to see him. I travelled 2 700 km in total to see him twice and even though it was definitely worth it, it would be great if I could just decide to go to a gig, buy a ticket and travel maybe just a few hours to be there instead of looking for a direct bus connection that is only 9 hours long, not 12 and more, looking for an accommodation near the venue I can afford etc. For a student, it's quite an expensive hobby. I'm already saving money for Summer, for my trip to Verona, but at the same time I wish I could have been in Strasbourg yesterday even though I know I just can't be everywhere.

On the other hand, I kind of like the travelling aspect to be honest, I've never travelled for gigs before, I always just went to gigs in my city and now thanks to Mika, it's a brand new experience for me and it's quite an adventure. The whole journey becomes a part of the concert experience. So I'm glad Mika encouraged me to travel more. However, you never get enough and my bank account isn't bottomless so I never stop dreaming of a gig near (= let's say less than 500 km :teehee:) me to see him again.

Verona is a beautiful city! Or also if you want to move a bit, 20 minutes far from Verona there is Lake Garda, you can visit Sirmione which is very beautiful, or Gardaland in Peschiera if you like amusement parks.

I live near Lake Garda so if you want we can organize something and i can be your tourist guide😄

That's really funny because I was just thinking yesterday that if I'm going to stay 3 whole days in Verona, I'd love to visit Lago di Garda! :biggrin2: I also found the train connection.

I was just listening to TBWKTM yesterday because I never get enough of Rain and also Blame It On The Girls. And I See You. And Pick Up Off The Floor. So many underrated songs on this album I'd love to hear live! :biggrin2:

  8. Tonight I had kind of a dream about Mika. Or actually about his dog. I think it's because yesterday I saw two golden dogs and immediately thought about Amira and Melachi (and also the fact that I always pay more attention to dogs than to people when I'm somewhere).

So I dreamt that I got to cuddle one of his dogs. Even in the dream I was wondering if it's Amira or Melachi because I couldn't tell. But she was super sweet and snuggling. Later I got the chance to say thank you to Mika (I guess for cuddling his dog). :teehee: But I think he was just passing by and there were more people waiting so I didn't really talk to him. Since it was a dream, it's all really blurry in my memory. However, this is the first time I remember a dream about Mika, besides some short dreams about being on or going to a show.

I was about to ask the same question :wink2:

I'll probably come alone too , I already have an option on a single room but I've nothing against sharing a flat with other fans

Don't know yet if I'll travel by train or plane

Does somebody knows where is it possible to book train tickets from Milano to Verona ?

I actually also made a reservation for a single room but it's not binding yet, I still can change or cancel it... So I'm open to any suggestions.

I'm just thinking of staying a bit longer, maybe a day before and a day after the concert because it's quite a long way so I don't want to travel so far just for the day of the gig. On the other hand, as I'll probably travel alone, I don't know if it won't get quite lonely for me to be 4 nights in the city... So still not sure how long I'll stay but I definitely need an accomodation for the night before and after the concert.

I’ll be there😍 even if I have no one to go with, I don’t care...I will travel alone from Puglia and I’m sure it’ll be worth it🔝

I'll probably travel alone too, from Prague, which is actually a similar distance, I just have to cross some countries... 😄

    😍😍😍 a lot of MFCers are going😍 that’s wonderful!

    I can’t wait❤️

Also glad to see so many MFCers on the list! 😁

Btw, I know is early but as the concert is during the holiday season, I was already looking for accomodation possibilities and since it looks like there'll be more people travelling, if anybody is interested in sharing an apartment/room, please, let me know. 😊

I'm also thinking of a travel in Verona

What kind of ticket did you buy?

Since the price difference wasn't as big (with the exception of the cheapest ones but I read that those places are pretty bad) I bought a ticket right in front of the podium.

    France and Italy??

There are already some new dates in Italy in August and I think there'll be some more dates in France too but hopefully also London and some other countries... But I bought a ticket for Verona anyway.

I wonder what happened to the "big thing"  he said he would do in London, maybe for autumn? :dunno: He hasn't talked about it anymore.

I still hope that when the tour ends in November there will be some new dates in Europe in autumn including the one in London he mentioned before...

So, after his exibition in Sanremo, Mika told about shows in:

Arena di Verona 10th of August (i’m already thereeeee 🏕 )

    Perugia Jazz

    Sicily

    Sardegna

    (spoiler! from Amadeus) Taormina

So these are the gigs with the french gospel choir? I saw the tickets are already available today at noon and he didn't announce it yet on social media as far as I know (idk why I'm still surprised by that)...

  15. I'm not good at writing reports but I'll try... First of all I want to thank the MFC for the ticket because otherwise I wouldn't travel so far on my own. But it was a great experience and I'm really glad I did it even though I needed a push to decide to go to Bolzano alone. Also thanks to @sara09 and her friends for the support. It was my first time seeing the big show and it was definitely worth it. For sure in some ways I liked the smaller show in Zürich better but in other ways the stage with the piano and lights is so amazing so I'm happy I could see both "types" of the show during the tour so far (I still hope there'll be some more dates in Europe later ).

I didn't watch many videos of the big show before because I didn't want to "ruin" my own experience even though of course I saw the stage on social media before. I really like how the show is working with lights and colours on the stage, it's so clever and effective and also of course the moving piano with the changeable lights is amazing! I like how Mika uses it as a musical instrument/sofa/pedestal during the show. :teehee: I had a great spot in the 2nd/3rd row right in front of the "catwalk" stage even though I arrived only 30 minutes before the door opened (and only 45 minutes after I arrived to Bolzano with the bus, so it was still quite a success that I made it to the venue so early after checking in in the hotel). I was so excited to be there because it really was a long, last minute trip and luckily everything went smoothly, it felt almost too good to be true. The support act (Charlotte I think) was decent but to be honest, I was too excited to really pay attention because she sang rather ballads and at the moment I was too hyped for that but she sang really well. When it comes to Mika, I have to say the setlist was quite predictable this time with no surprises (unfortunately for me no NPIH song) but the show really made up for it.

Mika was right when he said it's ####ing freezing because it was really quite cold in the venue. I've been to ice hockey arenas before for concerts but it was never so cold that you had to keep your jacket on. So it was really funny when he brought his own coat for Big Girls. Again I was lucky that he entered the crowd right in the place where I was standing, so I got a really close look even though it works even better in smaller venues in my opinion where you can see Mika the whole time during his "journey" through the crowd. I have to say I couldn't appreciate most of the spoken parts this time because I don't speak Italian, of course I knew a bit what he is saying in these pre-recorded parts but sometimes I was quite lost. However, that didn't matter as much. The show was great with a lot of Mika energy, his iconic dance moves & jumps and little jokes (like his pantomimes when he let the crowd sing). I feel that these are the things that are even more present in the big show where Mika has more space to move. I still feel high after the show, maybe even more than after the last one but it's hard to say...

(I know it's a bit messy but I tried my best to put down at least some of my impressions from the show – it's impossible to mention all of them because is an endless list.)
