  1. And Mika dancing shirtless as a go-go boy - which becomes a "normal" outfit for him lately
  2. Yes, it looks like new sounds in both new songs. But if he wrote songs for 2 albums I am sure they all will be very different. And I am happy that he opens his mind on new horizons!!!!!
  3. 50 Inside - Saturday the 23rd of April at 5:50pm on TF1. A documentary from Coachella festival about Francofone artists: Stromae, L'Imperatrice, Mika. Second video: Journalist: When are you going on stage ? Mika (making calculation in his head): In 3 hours. It's perfect. J: Are you OK? M: Yes. Why? It's only 45 minutes. It will be fast. J: So, have a great concert. M: No, you should say...? J: Break your leg? M: No. You should say...? J: Merde! M: Yes, merde! YouCut_20220422_192021566.mp4 YouCut_20220422_192103858.mp4
  4. And the percussion sounds like a heart beat.
  5. Thank you for your help. I think Mika wanted to say that every time he was doing something new (new love as well) - he was running to the piano to write a song about it. Which - we know - is true
  6. Yes, this was my first thought too. Just a bunch of repeated words and the beat. But now - as I mentioned in my post above - I find it sexy - with double meaning like Ice Cream. So it makes sens with the rhythm and repeated words - sort of "making love with this base line" as once Mika was joking about the beginning of Ice Cream
  7. After several listening I find this song very sexy.... kind of Ice Cream
  8. Mika talks about the diversity of Italy, France, trains and the magic piano. Here is a brief summary. I didn't understand last two sentences There is no such thing as one country of Italy. Each part of the country is different. The more you get to know Italy, the less you know about it. France - so linguistically diverse. Mika likes this mix of diversity in one country, the influence of one region over another. Train journeys are the most romantic for Mika. You can observe the slow change of the landscape outside the window. Not like when you travel by plane, you suddenly land in Paris or Amsterdam. Traveling by train is more "human" (natural) for him. Mika believes magic exists. In our head, we are able to create anything. And we only use 10 percent of the power of the human's brain. We should be able to use magic. We drive by something and suddenly we see a detail out of the corner of our eye ... it's a form of real magic. I like this magical reality very much. Music, art, love - all this can make our reality more magical. Piano - this is my fiancée. It accompanied me in the most important moments of my life. The most beautiful ... all the "first times" ... Right after that, I sat at the piano - not to "confess", but to tell stories. The piano makes my life more magical. Makes my life more bearable. For example, this concert will be me and the piano. In all its simplicity. In the theatre. On the second day, in the same city, we will do an extremely spectacular concert - with lasers, fireworks. And the piano will be a source of magic. It's not a perfect translation, I know.
  9. Looks like it was recorded the 11th of March. Mika tagged Cosmopolitan at his story. YouCut_20220311_145328960.mp4
Allunga i giorni verso l’estate. Lavinia Farnese Google translation into English This is a love song: with Mika as the first man on the cover of the Italian edition of the magazine, Cosmopolitan has been on newsstands since 22 April. The editorial by Lavinia Farnese by DIGITAL DRAFTING 21/04/2022 The return of music. The power of music, what it can express and also what it can save. The new path of Cosmopolitan Italia continues with The Music Issue, which you will find on newsstands from Friday 22 April. Lavinia Farnese, Chief Editorial & Brand Officer of Cosmopolitan, tells us about it. Love songs A small pink peach tree that came with me from house to house - it was a thin twig outside the attic door I was a girl in, and in May when I was pregnant on a balcony it sprouted tightly into a beautiful old teal vase - reminds me today, from the terrace where it found its place in the sun and on which I see it shyly but tenaciously throwing two leaves and a bud, which even when times get tough (it is now more another thing a dark and bare branch) nothing is more ambitious than spring. If it were one flower, it flourishes. Extend the days towards summer. Warm the skin. Turn up the volume on the radios. It paints the skies a cheeky blue. Even so, this year has arrived again, caught between a war around the corner and a pandemic that, although weakened, persists, with a fear that now has the daily and new measure to which events greater than us are getting us used to. And yet there is less silence. That silence that had taken everything when he started shooting a photo of an advertising billboard on the Livorno seafront with a furious undertow behind mounting the waves, and a passing girl. A billboard that was supposed to host the dates of a tour, and on which someone had dared: "I miss you like a concert." This issue is dedicated to music. The music that comes back, and with it that ticket in your pocket with which to go get love and wait for it to come down - the motor is running and your heart a bit in turmoil - park as best you can, see it dance under the stage. There we hug, hold each other, find between one song and another the unconsciousness of whispering in his hair "I want to kiss you", do it, feel in that round of notes all the cells of your body say yes. In magic, in the imagination of which Mika is the master, the first man on the cover in the history of Cosmopolitan Italia, also because he was the first to pull down the walls, which are always limits and prejudices, and instead «Blue is a feminine color». Lavinia Farnese
  11. Nina posted a video where Mika is talking before Grace Kelly about a hat he took in 2015 from Marvin. I remember there was a documentary about Mika on tour in US. He arrived by a taxi to the venue. Ha was talking about stage decoration, he gave some advice to the band.... and then after the show he met fans. And I remember that he took a hat from one of the fans and was wearing it. I can't find this video on YouTube. Do you know the tilte of this documentary? Here is the link to Nina's video. https://www.instagram.com/p/Ccmruj5LHT_/
  12. That's why he was so relieved when he gave it back to the bodyguard just after the show (seen in the "Il Testomone" documentary made by PIF). Il testimone xxx.mp4
  13. When I listen to the song I think the base guitare is missing. Max is playing keyboard. I am not sure if he sings the lyrics as well - I hear two voices, no? IMO the studio version will be more rich in in the background music. And the base line. And I would add harmonic choir.
  14. So here it is the rainbow cape in Coachella!!!!!!!! https://www.instagram.com/p/CcbR4dWD5ad/ 278698566_467425148509312_3282664232050501407_n.mp4
  15. And a black suit changing in a slow motion YouCut_20220416_204206754.mp4
  16. Thank you @Kumazzz I was going to post the videos from Tiktok
  17. Thank you very much for the file. Really great show. Short but full of energy. I like Mika performing in a day light I love LED screen behind showing beautiful images (by Yasmine I suppose). Maybe we will see them in Italy during the Magic Piano arena gigs?
  18. Thank you @dcdeb for your report. At last I can see an image of the whole show For sure the first concert was stressful for Mika - not only because it was the first one but as well because he was sick and the tour started with a delay. Beautiful venue! The "old" band is back! And Mika with his outfits!!!!! While reading your report I found another meaning of the outfits. Of course I agree with yours as well. But the order of changing gave me this way of seeing it: The first one - with body parts - can represent death - or Winter. Of being torn apart - even from sadness, love ect. The second one - with the broken heart with stitches - can represent the beginning of Spring. Healing, bringing to life. The third one - the floral suit - it's Spring of course. The fourth one - the cape RESIST and the crown - it's the symbol of renaissance, the victory over death, over all things bringing us down. RESIST can have so many meanings related to the current situation as well. We have to resist even if the situation looks hopeless. The whole story Mika mentioned so many times about life throwing stones and s**t on you.... I can't wait to see how the show will evolve during next concerts!!!!
