    It’s a fairly happy tune and he sings about the apocalypse. A typical Mika song, he succeeded again! I wonder if he will ever tell us. But the beauty about him leaving that open for interpretation is that all of us can have our own truth - and I believe that is also what he loves about it, so he doesn’t want to get in the way of that by telling us necessarily. But I would like to know as well! En faisant l’amour on resiste - make love not war, right?

    My French speaking skills are pretty non-existent, but I do it with flair and passion… and that’s what counts! In this community it doesn’t matter, anyone is willing to help who is there, it’s very heartwarming.

    Hi Jordan! Welcome to the forum! I’m Michelle, live in Germany! I have mentioned it already in another topic, but I was standing behind you when you showed Mika your tattoo. So sorry we didn’t really get to say hi! I’m so happy for you that you had the opportunity to show it to him and talk to him! He is very kind and his reaction was just adorable. But question: did I hear it right that you just had that done that day and couldn’t move, let alone dance? How could you NOT dance during the gig!?!? I won’t be in Bristol, but I’m sure we’ll see at a future gig! Have fun here in the meantime.

    Is he traveling or did he go for a run? We don’t know when he recorded it. Paris is quiet at 7am, I know from my own running experience

    Last summer he was in Geneva (Caribana Festival) and Colmar (Foire de Vin, it’s France, but it’s close to Switzerland). Before the pandemic he was also in Zurich, so he does come around! Just no one knows when

    I saw the seating plan without seeing what it was about and thought “well this looks an awful lot like the Philharmonie de Paris” AND IT WAS What does this say about me if I recognize the venue just by the seating plan

    I wonder though, because last year the theme was already flowers.. so either he will give a whole new spin to it, or he is talking about a different birthday letter his mum sent him.

    Yes! I almost forgot, but noticed too when he said that. The gigs are almost back to back from the 8th of June until the 5th of August, but (as far as we know!) there is not much around it…. Yet…. So who knows what else he will announce? His schedule last year was insanely grueling though! Not only did he have the back to back gigs, he also had a North American Tour, ESC and The Piano AND the soundtrack going on. Did he notice last year that it was maybe all a tad much? So now it’s “just grueling”?

    Soooo what is he doing in Paris? More studio time? Doing interviews? Filming something? Or is he just making and enjoying his popcorn machine? I know what I would do all day! By now he must have perfected his popcorn making techniques

    I honestly hope they do another Tiktok of the Cheltenham gig, like a recap before and behind the scenes. Just watching the rehearsals with Nomfundo warms my heart.

    Yes, but Mika changed the order of the setlist as mentioned before, unbeknownst to Nomfundo herself, because she had to get ready very quickly as she didn’t expect to be on for another 4-5 songs.
