Mika Interview on Dlui la Repubblica June 2023
holdingyourdrink replied to Kumazzz's topic in Mika News and Press
These answers are so brutally honest I had to read them twice to make sure I read them right. Speaking about his fears so openly. Which makes me wonder if his decisions nowadays are more fear instilled rather than born out of creativity and freedom. Or maybe they go hand in hand more than we realize?- 22 replies

In the La Prairie interview he spoke about “eating really badly and have a lot of fun doing it!” Wait. What did I just say.

I really liked this interview, to get a glimpse of his workout routine and lifestyle. It’s obvious he takes good care of himself with the grueling schedule he has, otherwise he wouldn’t be able to bounce back from COVID five times the way he did. Concerning the supplements, that part interested me most. I have always taken supplements, but now it’s more targeted after I had blood work done. I can imagine he does the same thing, otherwise he wouldn’t know what deficiencies he might have and how to adjust his supplement intake every 2 months, if I’m understanding him correctly. Also his running schedule is very intense! I have trained for a half marathon with a schedule of running 4 times a week, building up to distances varying from 6k to 20k. Him running 6 times a week varying from 6k to 12k, he gets more kilometers in than a half marathoner during training. Respect. Also wonder if he’s a pavement runner and just explores the cities he’s in? I would be interested to hear what cities he has run in and what he has discovered along the way! He could easily do a running blog, I would totally read that.

What do you mean? Obviously Mika likes fruit. It totally matches his healthy lifestyle. I’m sure he will sing about aubergines next!

2023 - Mika @ Bristol Sounds Festival, UK, 21 June

Nail clippers/scissors are allowed in cabin luggage. Scissors with a blade that is shorter than 4 inches/10cm to the pivot point, are generally allowed I believe. I have traveled with nail scissors multiple times in the last year alone and it was fortunately never a problem. -
Mika is Missing: Fun Fan Theories
holdingyourdrink replied to TinyLove_CJ's topic in Chat about Mika
I agree. I don’t think it’s from last night. -
Thanks so much for your report, I loved reading it! And you got to meet and speak to him twice, that is amazing!! I’m very happy for you that you got to see he received your gifts and that you could give a bit of explanation the following night. And now we know he definitely loves popcorn good job for choosing that snack!! As much as I love your gig reports. I also love seeing M&G pictures or videos if you have them. Those are even more rare ❤️

Thank you so much everyone for sharing your stories and videos and pictures!!! ❤️ Question, since Mika did the encore in his pyjamas, does this mean he also did the meet and greet in his pyjamas!?!

Mika's Social Media & official Website updates - 2023
holdingyourdrink replied to Mikasister's topic in Mika News and Press
This reminds me of Verona last year. But what I’ve heard from fans is that Verona is always well organized like that. Security puts up barriers and makes sure everyone stays in check and the artist also knows that it is a controlled environment. Thank you @dcdebfor the insight on the M&G’s in Japan and Korea. I think the main thing is that it is a controlled environment where everyone cooperates, doesn’t matter where or how many there are. I’m glad to hear it went so well. I see so many happy faces, including Mika’s!- 1,743 replies

Mika's Social Media & official Website updates - 2023
holdingyourdrink replied to Mikasister's topic in Mika News and Press
I agree. Judging from the few times I was lucky enough to meet Mika after the show in the few recent years that I’ve been a fan: the M&G’s where there was a barrier, or at least some kind of order/organization amongst the fans (no pushing), he stayed the longest. The recent M&G’s after the gigs in Japan and Korea can only confirm that. I’m sure this is a recurring topic from the beginning of time, but just imagine everyone staying in queue during a M&G: the circle would be much bigger and there are so many more fans who would get a first or second row to see Mika! That’s such a dream, he even stopped to chat and take pictures with individual fans. Of course it also depends on how much time he has and how he is feeling (he is a human being after all).- 1,743 replies

Do you mean the bit where he says that he also saw fans present from Japan who travel to Europe to see him, but now he is here for them (in Japan)? I think he meant @NaoMika. But you could be right, it also could’ve been her!

What I find astounding is that he remembers her and can retell after 7 years. Absolutely remarkable and also adorable. She must have such kind and happy energy.

Calum Scott opening for Mika?? I love him! Anyone who is going is going to have a really fantastic evening -
I agree with @krysady, it’s best to get a professional opinion and diagnosis, before you let Dr Google or the the internet scientists shower you with “wisdom” To respond to your post: my cousin actually has a hair transplant clinic and told me that you unfortunately have to repeat the procedure after a couple of years, even several times. Like you said yourself, it won’t stop the process of hair loss, so the newly implanted hairs may stay, but the “old” hairs are still in the process of hair loss, so will eventually fall out, despite the hair transplant in the surrounding area. Also, hair loss is the most before the age of 45, due to testosterone levels. After that the levels even out and it will be more stable - but not free from it. That’s why my cousin said it’s better to consider a hair transplant after the age of 45. Either way: l embracing yourself and loving yourself as you are is the most important! ❤️
