    In less than a week we will see him live! And enjoy his company for the entire show! Can’t believe it’s so soon already ❤️ I’m thinking he will travel to the UK soon to do last fittings. Maybe Mira Mikati herself will also be at Cheltenham?

    I loved listening to him! Sometimes it felt like he was cut off a bit mid sentence, but I still think he got to say what he wanted to say. I also think that the interviewer (Mariella) had a time restriction. It didn’t necessarily feel like a rude cut off, because she did let him talk and express himself. What I also really liked is that she did her homework! And he just filled out the rest. Love hearing him express his thoughts in English. Sometimes when I read the translation of the Italian and French interviews I wonder what gets lost and if so: how much! But I truly have the same feel when hearing him now in English as in the other languages.

    I wanted to write a reply like this, so I’m glad you have worded my thoughts so eloquently as you have I actually think that the interviewer is very aware of the opinion back then of Mika in the British media and uses this exact vocabulary to maybe also resonate with that same public. In the end you need a hook for them to read your article, and I personally think this has been the right approach. Mika is the superstar in France and Italy and is also treated as such, we shouldn’t forget that he has once won the British public, then disappeared, and now is suddenly back. The articles that have been published so far have been very much in his favour, including the explanation as to why he has been gone. It’s maybe not necessarily marketing on Mika‘s side, but rather the British media being on his good side now - and I love that for him. Haha, I really loved this revelation he did himself. This shows how aware he is of the situation, but he just shrugs and moves on. Like he should!! Brilliant.

    I love these interviews where he can speak freely and is being (I assume) quoted correctly. It shows us the intelligent and weird artist that he is, thinking out of the box, but found a highway route into our fan hearts!

    I wonder, is it? Maybe it was even from last Christmas when all of them were together we really never know with Mika, but either way I love these kind of videos from him, I’m so glad he decided to do that. So he inspired me and I am making Spanakopita (the Greek spinach pie). It’s not for 20 people, but for 10! But I made way too much, so who is coming over for dinner tonight???

    Haha I think so too, when he posts he is somewhere it's very possible he is not there anymore I think he is going back to the Mira Mikati studio like you said, probably to do a fitting or maybe even the final fitting for the show in Cheltenham in 2 weeks. And maybe also to start rehearsing with the band. The setlist will be different from last summer, maybe half of the songs are different? So that needs more tweaking before they go live. What songs are we hoping he will add to the setlist? I am manifesting hard for Stuck in the Middle, Lola (after seeing the acapella version a few days ago on the MFC IG account!) and also Tomorrow. Oh and honestly... Tah Dah, that song is so amazing, I would LOVE to hear that one live.

    Haha I know I’m a meticulous planner, but I’m not THAT organized, so I haven’t made us an itinerary YET However, your itinerary sounds absolutely perfect, so let’s go with that I love meeting up with fellow MFCers, this sounds like a perfect day already!

    Maybe he used his iPhone but I think it’s a GoPro kind of camera for the underwater shots. I wonder if Adam is there to film Tiktok videos, or there is a bigger thing being made parallel to these. It seems to me that Mika is trying to increase engagement and I have the feeling (and am sincerely hoping!) something bigger may be coming soon. Like a release? (Fingers crossed!) Or Mika is just being random Mika and he has some time to film a bunch of videos and post them on Tiktok. He is actually just bored and is finding something to do

    His house is just gorgeous. I love how he shows us all these random things. It’s something I would personally pass by in the shop, but seeing it come together in his house is a lot of fun and fitting to the decor. Also: poor flowers! You think the Easter rabbit will fix them?!

    I’ve just tried this! I can do it with both hands and I can even slightly overextend my middle finger!? Now it only I was as charming as Mika this would make me look less weird

    A bit of a workation, I think so too! I am so hoping he is going to tease us something new in Cheltenham, or surprise us with the setlist. I really can’t wait.

    Oh I also got a message from his social media manager a few days ago, that he has no time to reach out to fans, so his social media manager is doing that for him I think one of them is not telling the truth
