    Mika's always liked flowers. He's said in various interviews that he loves gardens, he regretted not having the time to care for them properly, and that he planted flowers at his home in London (when he had it, dunno if he still does). And he had all the plants and herbs growing on the balcony in Athens. Plus he's used them on stage. I'm not sure what the blue flower is - a type of ceanothus maybe? And I'm wondering what the significance of the blue door is. Maybe none and he just really likes the colour!

    Yes, "we are preparing" , or, "we are in preparations for" , so many things. The translation software was probably aiming for "we have so many things in the pipeline".

    Oh, that's beautiful! I do love when it's just his voice and piano. It's interesting how the songs develop. This version is more hopeful/pleading, the others are angrier/hurt/disappointed. I love all 3! Wonderful. Honestly, this man could sing the phone book and I'd love it.

    I've just seen the sinfonia pop version, and was completely blown away by his performance. So I listened to the album version and, I love it. 2 different takes on a great song. Both versions are powerful. A new fave. I just wish I could sing, as I'll be screeching along with it for the next few days - sorry neighbours!

    Honestly, I prefer the more recent pics - the man, not the boy - but he obviously put a lot of work in to get those muscles and was happy to show them off, so I'm happy to appreciate them. Speaking of which...

    Good point! I'm so used to working from home now, I forget shops are still closed. Honestly, I believe him too. I think he is (or was) there. My post was kind of in jest. Ah, I didn't know they were friends, thank you. I agree, it was an amazing interview, and I'll definitely rewatch. I just got a bit upset early on when the host's intro made a joke about the school bullies throwing things at his head, it didn't seem right. Maybe displaced anger, I dunno. I get protective sometimes. But, he handled it all with his usual grace, dignity and aplomb, all was well in the end. ❤️ Thanks! I've seen the first one, but not the second, I'll watch it tonight.

    I just had a wicked thought. If he doesn't appear in the pics, how do we know he's actually there? He could have asked someone to send him pics of the posters in Paris, then posted them so it seems that's where he is... handy if he wants to throw people off his trail for a while. Mika, if you're reading this (and I really hope not ) - you need to be in the pics if you want to convince us!

    Hijacking the thread to say I've just watched the "Le Divan" interview he did in 2015, and my god that was brave of him. I knew most of the stories, but to see and hear them all in one place like that, to hear him talking about them and seeing his reactions, is quite overwhelming. I actually got angry early on and shouted at the host "who the hell are you to ask him that? You're upsetting him, leave him alone!". For an interview nearly 6 years old. Yeah, good job I live alone, eh? But yes, all that to say, I don't know where he might be in the world, but he is definitely in my heart, and I wish he was here for a big hug. The more I see of this man, the more special he becomes. ❤️ Sorry, I was just a bit emotional after that and needed to let it out. OK, back on track. Springtime in Paris? Very nice. Wonder if he's sticking around or just passing through. Maybe revisiting that wonderful shop with all the miniature figures and scenes that he instagramed about before, was it Les Drapeaux de Paris?
