(1) "Rhoda": a successful spin-off television series from "The Mary Tyler Moore Show"

(2) "munchkin land": reference to the film "The Wizard of Oz" (1939)

(3) "That’s Entertainment": television variety show featuring Fred Astaire, Gene Kelly, etc.

(4) Ginger - actress Ginger Rogers also appeared on "That’s Entertainment"

(5) Bea Arthur: actress who played Dorothy on the television sitcom "Golden Girls"

(6) "streaker": refers to a random guy who streaked at a party thrown by Marilyn Manson

 

 

I love this song and the video (linked to above in the title) is awesome. :thumb_yello:

I'm an honourary Californian! I've been to San Diego/LA twice this year, and will be back in January/February of next year. Oh and I'm getting married in San Diego next August.

 

I love California. My fiance was offered a job in Del Mar, but he ended up not taking it. :thumbdown:

 

The next California Mika concert, I am so there (unless he happens to play Vancouver or Seattle). I was in LA five days before the last concert. Life is so not fair.

San Diego is about an hour and a half away from my house, and so is LA...I've got it good lol.

 

Awwww, I feel your pain. I missed out on the Hollywood Avalon concert because of my dad's birthday...

No way...my dad's birthday is june 8th too...he was in LA that day for a job interview...but i was still stuck in wisconsin...*grumbles*

OMG Our dads have the same birthday! AHHH Haha. We went to Disneyland instead of the concert. I know I sound spoiled, but I reaaaally wanted to go to the Mika concert, not Disney!

I'm from LA. Well, not really.

I'm not actually from LA, since I live a bit closer to the Mojave desert.

And I think I might be the only Mika fan in the part of LA County I live in.

so, im thinkin it should be at Disneyland in Anaheim!!! I can help organize since im prolly the closest to disneyland!!!!!! AAAHHHHHHHHH IM SO PUMPED GUYS!!!

WE SHOULD MAKE A MIKA FLOAT IN THE PARADE!!!!!!!!!! ahhh!!!

We are gonna be in the parade and have MIKA stuff everywhere! and i'll dress up as mika and walk around the park signing autographs!!!!!! I have the hair and the pants!!!!! :roftl:

And throw out LICM into the crowd!!!! and dress as animals of course!!! Omg guys, we're gonna bring mika to disneyland, and its gonna be insane!! hahaa
