elanorelle
i just thought, if we have the clap intro as an outro as well, the song could keep getting repeated and go on forever that could potentially be alot of fun... and annoying lol oh yeah! the clap would be fun!! we could all clap in unison and sway back and forth! sigh! fun!!!!!!!!!!! armande
ohh, yah, time signature hmm, im thinking slightly out of the usual how about 3 4 or simple triple as i think some people call it. i think it could have a nice swaying feel to it like that (and people could waltz to it haha). but if someone dosnt agree, by all means say something EDIT: lol, im not good with words at all, im trying to think of something but i just dont have an aptitude for that sort of thing

armande
i just had an idea, we could have a time change between the verse and chorus, but that might be getting too complex however, i just realised that the chant in 3/4 could be, hmm this might be tricky to explain, but ill give it a go mi-ka X........XX two quavers, crotchet, two quavers X's are the clapping |.......|........| this line being the beat but honestly, if you have any ideas or objections i wont be offended at all EDIT: i hope it is understandable now

I just go by whole notes, quarter notes etc Thanks! no problem! i didnt know what people use so basically for the chant, it is one bar, which is repeated i dont know how many times, i guess we should wait until the rest of it is written, but this is the one bar; mi-ka X XX which goes two half notes (for the mi-ka) whole note (clap) two half notes (clapclap) i will write it on my music programme and post it as a picture! elanorelle
so basically the x notehead is the clap i wrote it on an A just because it is an example and im just trying to convey ideas actually its two eighth notes and a quarter note then two eighth notes but this would be good! at the beginning somewheres. was it you that said you have sebelius? I can't afford it not yet anyway. I tend to memorize my music in my head and record from memory and do it on Garage Band Orchestra. But you and I could work on to get it down on paper so to speak. are you studying music???
