motleynova Posted February 18, 2008 Share Posted February 18, 2008 Ever since Mika's concert Friday night in Vancouver, when ever I listen to LICM, I keep waiting for the wild clapping and screaming at the end of each song! It would be so cool if he recorded a Live album with all the extras he adds to his songs! (who's Billy Brown?) I fall asleep listening to LICM on my walkman pretty much every night and this thought came to me at about 1:30 this morning! Why doesn't Mika sing Erase? Barenaked Ladies got sick of being beholden to a record label and went independent. They've been on the cutting edge with distributing their music digitally. They recorded 35 songs for their last album and instead of paring it down to fit the traditional 12 or 14 song CD, they decided to release everything eventually in different ways and at different times.
