Got there, dropped her off, and went up to pick up my son, who lives with his dad! Got a phone call - my daughter was day off!!! So I could have had a bit more sleep!! Got a taxi booked for later, so there will be drinking tonight! Van worried me at the start, as it seemed to be doing what it did before, sluggish, taking hills at a crawl. Then at Hungerford, something happened. I was just coming down tne other side of a hill, finally hit 70mph, and boom! It was like something had kicked it up the behind and it shot up to 80! And for the rest of the journey, apart from the odd hill, she's been brilliant. I did great time, leaving me plenty of time to relax.
