your first concert

ok, take a seat! !

Once upon a time...

 

So i was 16 and it was my first show! Shania Twain was my idol! (i still love her very much). She was like my Mika of the moment, i was kinda obsessed really! So, i got really good tickets for the show (3rd row) and was sooo close to the stage and stuff. The first few songs is was in tears, i loved her music so much!!! i couldnt believe she was there. I sang all the songs and everything. At one point, she was giving autographs while singing, and of course i wanted one! So i got closer to the stage, but couldnt reach it due to 100 people doing the same thing1:naughty: So i just stood there, few feet away from her when she pointed in my direction... I looked begind me and thought she pointed at some girls that were screaming... And she pointed at me again and she said:"comon here!"

I made my way to the stage, she took my hand, got me up on stage... and i just said :OH MY GOD!!

She held my hand and started to walk on the stage with me (her stage was round in the middle of the arena, so it was quite big) And made me sing half the song! At the end, she gave me a hug and asked my name, where i came from and stuff. And then she whispered to me :"wave to everyone"(like 22 000 persons!!) and i did! and she got me back on the ground. I couldnt believe it! i even forgot where i was seated, a security guard had to escort me to my place cause i was so lost! and everyone was touching me and asking me if it was planned:blink:

Next day in was on TV and in newspaper... was so great...

But the best part is to come (yes, im a very lucky girl)

 

So, i got to see her again 8 months later, when she came back.

I was in fifth row and told myself i would REALLY enjoy the show now, cause the first time i kinda lost half of it cause i was in tears and so happy!! lol

So i did enjoy it, and it was amazing. At the end, she talked to the audience and said: "You know, i saw a girl earlier, and i dont know where she is anymore (thanks to the round stage!). She finally got closer to where i was and pointed at me: "oh there she is!! come up here!"

Me:

So, i made my way up there (again!) and she looked at me and said:

"I've seen you before right??"

Me: yeah!!!! omg omg omg!!

Shania:"thats what i thought, and your name is Roxane right?"

Me:... yes!!!! OMG!!

I truly wonder how she remembered my name!

and then she said talking to the audience:

"You know, Roxane is one of my biggest fans. She knows all my songs and i love that!! Roxane, would you like to sing "Youre Still the One" with me?

ME: yes!!!!

 

So we sang it, and she gave me a hug, and i got back to my seat with an autograph and everything!
