Hello :bye: I'm back, I have bought the magazine and I start to translate it in English.

Here the beginning, I continue to translate.... I have made my best (thanx to the translator). I hope you could understand!:wink2:

"On a wall, the hypnotic glance of a mandrill, snatched by the flash of an Australian photographer, nails you on the spot. 2 trapezes of circus fall of the ceiling. The obscene toes of a beautiful fidget on a fetishist photo signed David Lynch. And then, resting on shelves of the dzaines of models foot in red resin blocked by the name of their charming owners make eyes at you: Kylie Minogue, Arielle Dombasle, Zoe Cassavetes, Sofia Coppola... Among all the treasures of the studio - cabinet of curiosities of Christian Louboutin, the genius of the stiletto, Mika, 24 years, the pop singer, come make fittings for his megaconcert of the Parc of the Princes on July 4th, does not spoil. His brown hair is curled as that of a model for Pre-Raphaelite paint(painting). His jeans, spotless. In the wrist, he wears a bracelet of plastic hearts, present of a fan, a multitude of multicolored plaques picked up in Tate Modern of London, a red and yellow watch bought from the MoMA, from New York.

The set translates the aesthetics, the taste. Moreover, Louboutin seizes the bracelet hearts rainbow which tightens him religiously Mika, as a relic. He and his boss of studio will use it as palette to realize in best 2 pairs of shoes of scene which Louboutin imagined for the young pop American-Lebanese star, born in Beirut, and craftsman, with its 5 million albums sold in the world, of one of the most unexpected successes of the last year." Full of people do not understand me, see me as a very sweet singer, under pretexte that I write pop melodies and that I rock balloons on the public, deeply explains Mika, alias Michael Holbrook Penniman, in almost completed French (he lived 8 years in Paris in 16th district and frequented the Victor-Hugo class).Me, what I like above all, It's the contrasts. The opposition between texts rather dark and me and my musicians disguised as cuddly toys on stage. I see it as an assertion of the life ". [...]

HERE: the following of the article:

"Christian Louboutin understood him. He took at once the author of Grace Kelly seriously, as a deserving heir of a blazing adventurers' lined of the pop, Bowie to Freddie Mercury, by way of Harry Nilsson, mythical interpreter in the head voice of "Without You", or fabulous Bee Gees. And Louboutin who had put shoes only on the women, except John Malkovich for a film and on mannaquins men of a parade of the English designer Todd Lynn, agreed enthusiastically to find a suitable match to him." Mika is super intelligent, he is interested, he listens to, he masters the Middle-Eastern art of the discussion, he says composedly. And, especially he understood that the artists of scene must not be dressed as in the life. It is as the Santa Claus! Tina Turner for whom I am moreover going to create low-fronted shoes of stage or Mariah Carey gets dressed totally differently in their shows and in the city " Suddenly, he exclaims very seriously: " we need escalopes for Mika! ". Explanation: the first one job of Louboutin consisted in working for the dancers of Folies Bergère... " And I bought them escalopes of veal everyday, which I slid in front of their ballerina, to relieve the toes when they made points. And as Mika is very strong to put itself brutally on points, we could maybe think about this stratagem", he says making fun that half. From his part, Mika tries his silvery bootees , middle-basket, middle- boxing shoes, rising on the ankle. " He has fragile ankles ", clarifies the creator. The Louboutin team, photographer of ELLE, the TV equip who follows him everywhere for the making-of of the spectacle, his mother, round and smiling in her pink tyrien dress, also takes care of the estate management. We discuss the exact color of shoes - will they go with the white, black and silver suit of the singer?-, of their comfort of their flexibility. Then we pass in the prototypes of the grolles of clown, blacks with strips of color.Christian Louboutin suggests making the right foot with vertical strips and the left foot with horizontal strips. Mika approves. Between the 2 artists, the collaboration is opened: Louboutin who made 8 years of trapeze in professional, even suggested to Mika to integrate trapeze artists into his concert...

An idea which enchants him. Because for the Parc des Princes, where he will occur for the first time in front of 55000 persons, the lanky and ultrasmiling young man imagined a Mika Circus Show: gigantic sceneries for a 100 meters long stage, a stage setting realized by one specialist of the opera, who had worked until then only for Pet Shop Boys and Kanye West, enormous dolls with head of papier-mâché, suits signed Matthew Williamson. And the subject of the circus (in the ancient) , with Mika in the chaplinesque role of a " tramp of reves " dressed in a colorful combination, very Harlequin.

" I discovered little time ago " Freaks ", of Tod Browning and I am crazy about it . I always liked the world of the circus and the clowns. I like this universe where all the defects become qualities. It touches me.", says Mika." [...]

Thank you for translating! I did just want to say that he's appearing before 55000 people, not 55 and it's the Pet Shop Boys, not the Fart Shop Boys. For the rest I could sort of follow you, but those two things made me giggle.

But I will say thanks again, cos I don't speak any other languages and have to rely on the good will of people like you to do it for me!
