Marilyn had already submitted an article to The Zardoz Herald about Mika and his gig. Alice was planning her posters for the event and wished that she could access the brainwaves of Da Wack for inspiration. But Mika told Alice she was a genius in her own right, so Alice was thrilled (who wouldn't be) Norbert, and the alien chickens had been discovered in the cargo hold. They promised to behave, and were let out of captivity. When Norbert found out that Mika needed some Big Alien Women, he confessed that he had a girlfriend called Nalia, who was actually half human and half Zardozian. The result of a secret love afair between an Earthwoman, and a Zardozian male which had happened thirty years ago. Poor Nalia had grown up on Zardoz, but had been considered a freak. But Norbert loved her, and now he realised many more people might love her if they saw her through the eyes of Mika! Another large alien woman had also applied, more about her in the next part, so now Mika had two big aliens for his concert. Mika also planned to use the alien chickens in his concert, because everyone knows that Mika loves chicken and will have a lot of chickens around him if he gets the chance, so the alien chickens began learning the dance to a song Mika had adapted for the occasion... I feel like some chicken today, Chicken today, Chicken today Dioes anyone else feel like chicken today? Anyway you want to, You know that you've got to, Have chicken with me, Chicken with me. Meanwhile all the TV and Radio stations on Zardoz had stopped their boring programs and had begun playing Mika's songs! This meant that, not only did the stadium gig sell out approximately two dibwals (equal to one Earth hour) after the tickets went on sale, but also, millions of Zardozians came to greet Mika when the ships landed on the planet! The story of the Zardozian courtisan and the run-up to the concert wil also be included. Needless to say, Mika isn't sleeping. Does anyone know any alien remedies for insomnia? Marilyn Mastin Posted November 23, 2008 Share Posted November 23, 2008 After landing on Zardoz to a riotous welcome, Mika, Marilyn, Alice, Norbet and the chickens were taken to a hotel. Nalia was also booked in, she would stay with Norbert. The Zardozians were busy pruchasing tee shirts to wear at the gig, and there was an unexpected run on curly brown wigs. It seems that the Zardozian females really fancied the tall and skinny Mika! Their own males were tall and skinny, but they had no hair, so the females were buying their boyfriends and husbands, brown curly wigs, to make them look more like Mika. Mika met the 2nd applicant for the post of Big Girl Alien. She was actually quite well-to-do in a naughty kind of way. She was from the nearby planet of Hetbar, Her name was Betani, and she was a curvy voluptuous female who was actually the mistress of the Crown Prince of Zardoz. But he would not marry her and make her the queen, so she had grown tired of waiting for him and she believed that becomming one of Mika's Big girl Aliens would make Prince Caz really jealous, and might make him realise he wanted to marry her after all. With all the preparations for the Zardoz gig, Mika was stressing out. He wasn't sleeping and was getting really anxious. Betani told him of a herb that could help him to sleep and she fetched some for him and made him a lovely cup of herbal tea. He went to sleep after that and had a dream about chickens. The alien chickens meanwhile, were having a wonderful time getting to know the native chickens of Zardoz. There would deffinately be some unusual eggs laid soon (if you know what I mean) but those chickens had given Mika an idea for a new presidential law, which he would pass on his return to earth. He would pass a decree that everyone on Earth was entitled to free chicken. In fact, for those over 18, it was compulsory that they have chicken at least once a week to keep them happy. He also planned to open a Zardozian embassy in Washington and one in London, so that Earth could have diplomatic relations with the alien planet. But now, the moment was upon him, and Mika was due on stage for his first alien gig. He took a deep breath... and ran out onto the stage in the packed stadium... Next installment... Some had come from neighbouring planets to see the concert. He began with Relax, and everyone went wild when he did the high vocal bit at the begining. He soon got into his swing with Big Aliens You are Beautiful. Nalia and Betani danced their socks off for him. Norbert watched his girlfriend, and was really proud of her, he really doubted that anyone would call her a freak after this! Prince Caz was also really impressed with his voluptuous mistress. He was watching from the royal enclosure and was remembering what his dad, the king, had said about keeping the race pure and not marrying a person from another race. But now, as he watched Betani dance, and also saw all the different alien races in the stadium, all happy, at peace, he realised that it's not what someone looks like or where they are from that matters! It's what's inside the person! He decided he would marry Betani anyway. His dad would just have to accept it. But the prince also knew that only one person had been able to unite alien worlds, and teach them to look beyond their differences, to the common bonds of love they all now shared. That person was MIKA. The prince vowed, there and then, to have a statue of Mika errected in the main square of Zardoz's capital city, so everyone would remember the moment when peace came to their galaxy, and the man who had brought love and peace in his wake when he visited them. Several songs were performed by Mika, which had been on Mika's 2nd and 3rd albums, but since at the time of writing this, they are secret songs, this author cannot divulge them, except to say that Rain, Holy Johnny, and How Much Do You Love Me, were also included As usual the concert ended with Lollipop, when all the performers... the acrobats... the clowns... the astronauts... the big Girl aliens... the Lollipop Girl Aliens and the alien chickens... all joined Mika for a riotous finale. Of course he wasn't going to get away THAT easily! The crowd called for an encore, and Mika sang Relax again, but they shouted for even more! Then Mika did something very special. He sat at the piano and performed Grace Kelly in fluent Zardozian (he had actually taken the time to learn the language of the alien planet) The people went wild with excitement. After the concert Norbert proposed to Nalia, and Caz proposed to Betani, and the Zardozian MFC was opened on the Zardozian World Web. Mika's work was done, and it was time for himself, Alice and Marilyn, to head back to Earth with the two Zardozians who had been chosen as ambassadors to Earth. Norbert and Nalia had decided to stay on Zardoz and train up some Big Girls and Lollipop Girls for Mika's next visit, and the alien chickens would also train other chickens, so that Mika could have plenty of chicken when he visited again.
