Last night, we had some wonderful old friends come for dinner & a sleepover ... with their 5 yr. old girl & 14mth. old boy. I cooked Tandoori chicken & P. cooked rice & veges. ... they brought some lovely bottles of wine & champers & we chatted away by the fire, listened to music (this couple are great musicians) & coloured in fairies with textas & played with 'my little ponies' into the wee small hours! I kinda can't sleep atm as I'm still buzzing from this evening... the prom which I'm sure Tegan's mentioned... well you see I'm going too (of course) and I just found out I'm definitely in the top 5 for Prom Queen... Evil deceiving sun *will put a jumper on soon* And my portfolio is up to 3500 words with 2 sections still to go. The lecturers must have been laughing at the beginning of the semester when they thought 2000 would be enough. I heard the album for the first time yesterday, but then I figured - why bother? I'd get the same experience with She's So Lovely on repeat. It raised doubts to the taste right from the start. 3900 words with more to write. I think I'll try cutting bits out, but I still blame the lecturers for how long it is.
